**UPDATED 2020**Feb. 2020 - Decided to give them another chance after a disappointing first experience. I was the only customer in the store just after 5 pm. There was no one up front, but I could hear people talking in the back over the loud music playing. I could also see one of the employees through the window in the door with their back facing me, looking at their phone. I stood there for nearly 10 minutes, and they just stood there looking at their phone, and talking with the other employee(s). Not once did they even glance or look up front. There was no bell to ring for service, and I felt it wasn't appropriate to shout or go knock on the door. I got tired of waiting so I left and went to ZA pizza bistro instead. The service and food at ZA was great. I definitely won't be going back to this pita pit location.Sept. 2019 - Very disappointed. We love Pita Pit but this was not a good experience at all. There was a lot of confusion around my order of 2 pitas... not sure why because there was only 2 other customers (one in front and one behind). There ended up being 3 different employees that worked on my pitas. One pita ended up so badly ripped that it completely fell apart when unwrapped and the other one the chicken got left on the grill throughout the confusion and was very badly burnt. Too bad, we were excited about a Pita Pit coming to Steinbach.

The worst Pita Pit I have ever been to. This poor girl was working there by herself on a Saturday evening and it was very backed up. I ordered two of the same beef briskets and for some reason I ended up with one beef brisket and one veggie pita when I opened it up. The smoothie sizes are a joke, I ordered a small smoothie and it came in a sample cup size, it should be called a baby size smoothie, it is literally a two sip drink... Quite disappointing, I will stick to Lekoca from now on.

Food was excellent full of flavour. Would have rated higher but the man that took our order was rude never offered size just gave us large on everything.

Gluten free options were sold out. They closed 10 minutes before there advertised close time and the portions are small for the price. Flavour was good.

Went there on their second or third day open. The line setup is a little weird and could use some signage so you know where to start. Staff was still training, so speed was not very good, however, that is to be expected with any new restaurant, and I can only see it getting better. Staff were very friendly. Food was good, very simple menu and was filling. The only problem I would have is that the price is quite high compared to other restaurants of similar food items. I can’t see myself going regularly due to that reason only. But overall, a very good addition to the Steinbach food scene.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I loved Pita Pit. Because of their lack of customer service and rude treatment of customers and not helping out and just overall being arrogant, I will NEVER go to this one ever again. The staff is absolutely the worst!
