Dollar for dollar the best food in Halifax. Even a friend from Montreal said the smoked meat is amazing!Truly my favorite meal in the city!

This is a wonderful Jewish deli. The food is amazingly delicious and the people are great. The smoked meat, salami, and corned beef we're all perfect. My daughter got the lox platter and it was wonderful. We'll be back next time we're in Halifax!

Nice diner style. They don’t take card so bring cash. It is a brunch place but not a sweet brunch place. Mostly meat dishes.

Hali deli is a nice little Jewish Deli on Agricola street . I made an attempt to go previously but it was closed in the middle of the day .Be aware this place does close pretty early in the day , so check the hours ahead of time .I had the Reuben sandwich with potato salad . The potato salad was really really good & the sandwich was tasty .I found it a bit pricy for what i got , I had to purchase two bottles of water as you are not given any tap water or anything . I'm not big on plastic bottles of water .This place is cash only , I didn't know that and had to use the ATM , also a few dollars extra .So don't forget to bring cash .Overall it was all good , I just wish I could have a glass of water , without an extra charge . The food tasted great . The waitress was friendly . I would return .

Extremely great traditional deli with homemade food. The reuben was obviously a star and I'd happily eat that once a week for the rest of my life. The coleslaw is particular stole my heart - it was perfect.

A classic old school diner with some mouthwatering options. They do an amazing sandwich and their service is top notch and friendly. Prices are good too! Great spot for lunch with friends.

Smoked meat sandwich was delicious. It came with coleslaw and your choice fries or potato salad. Cute deli with an old school vibe. We got our food to go and just remember it's cash only.

If you’re into Smoked Meat than you need to hit up Hali Deli. I’ve been eating here for years and I’ve only recently tried the Reuben instead of the smoked meat sandwich and I’ve converted to the Reuben from now on! It’s so good and so are the fries. Their brunch is tasty as well but it’s only on weekends. I really like their Benny for brunch but they stop serving it early so get there before 2pm if you want to try it.* CASH ONLY.
