Worst shawarma ever we had, chicken was burnt rise half cooked no taste. It ruined my Sunday evening snack. I am cursing myself of having this, never try this Big Fat Pitta is far better with awesome taste.

I went there with a friend and we ordered the chicken suuqar and beef suuqar respectively. The restaurant is beautiful and spacious, clean and the owner is a great guy. The food was top notch, large portions as well so I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Suqaar Beef and Chicken Platter with Salad and Rice. Our meal was delicious but the owner needs to be clear about the cost. We asked to share a plate and ended up paying for he price of what seemed like two plates.

Great place!!! I love their food. Their chicken shawarma plate was amazing! My fiance got the suqar plate and that was really good too. Be sure to try their green Somalian sauce! I'm sure you won't have tried anything like it. It has a tangy and spicy taste to it, which I absolutely loved. Their customer service is top notch as well. The owner is really nice and takes care of his customers.

The food is just about okay. Way too much garlic sauce. Remember to ask them to go easy on the garlic sauce.They should definitely improve their Communication and customer When we service. arrived, we were given the menu and were never told that we had to order at the counter. After waiting a while, the lady at the counter says I've been waiting for you for so long! ". Another example is that when I went to pay and asked to use a credit card

I ordered a chicken shawarma which was very tasty, but had a too much sauce. Even still it was flavourful and delicious. I also like the hot sauce, but am glad I asked to only get a minimal amount because it's actually really hot. I wish the food came out quicker, but there was only one lady doing both the cooking and serving, so that explains the wait time. All in all, a good experience. I will be back. Thank you

My wife and I came here for dinner on a Friday night. The restaurant was clean and the decor was quite nice. Unfortunately, the rest of our experience was disappointing.1. Despite being open for dinner, there was no cook. So we couldn't order any of the delicious-sounding main courses. We asked for the fattoush, but apparently that also requires a chef to make. We asked for the shawarma platter, but the rice was still cooking, so another no-go. All of this made me wonder why on earth they were open.The only thing on the menu we could actually order was the shawarma wrap. There must be three dozen places in KW where one can get shawarma; we came here specifically for authentic Somalian food and couldn't get any.2. On the front door it says they accept Apple Pay, debit, credit, etc., however when I went to pay the bill, the cashier informed me their debit machine was broken because a customer had thrown it on the ground and broken it

Went on New Year's Eve at 5pm. It was empty, which initially worried me, but I decided to give the food a try anyway. I ordered the lamb chops. The owner was very courteous and accommodating - they clearly care about making a good impression on their customers.The lamb was great, extremely tender, and marinated in a unique blend of spices. I enjoyed the meal thoroughly. Definitely worth visiting for the food alone!My advice to the owner would be: decide and stick to an atmosphere. If you want to have a shisha lounge, have everything in the restaurant cater to that (sofas, cushions to sit on, etc). If you want to advertise yourself as a family friendly place, then stick with that without diverting to the shisha aspect. Doing too many things at once is a bad idea.Good luck, I hope this place thrives. I'll definitely visit again!

Nice place, although it seemed to be empty and dark at lunch when we visited. Nice lady running the place .. ended up waiting about 30mins for our orders (plan ahead). Food seemed to be of a good quality, but light on protein (chicken/beef) for the price. Taste is subjective. We were all still hungry after eating it. Probably wouldn’t go again. Also, their debit/credit payment machine wasn’t working so we had to pay by cash or etransfer .. looking at the comments here seems to be an issue for the last couple of months.

Yurub's food is always enjoyable. I regularly go in to get bisbas, a beautiful type of hot sauce that has improved many of my meals! I would recommend it with great fervor.The interior is also nicely decorated - it makes for a great evening atmosphere.
