Dr. Geeta Sukhrani

She has been my daughter pediatrician and now my Grandchildrens for over 20 years. Great Doctor

We live a 35 min drive away from Edmonton but I won't take my kids to any other doctor. She is so wonderful and knowledgeable. Particularly with my first baby, she helped so much to turn my worries and concerns into non issues.

Always feel rushed at my appointments. Also takes a long time to get them by phone.

I never felt so discriminated, belittled, and humiliated in all my life.I went to seek for help with Dr. Greeta Sukhrani to have my son assessed for Autism as the school suggested and since the teacher notice some possible signs of autism.Instead of guiding me on the process, she immediately discouraged and stated, that to do that, it is a 1 year wait, and that my son may not be considered since they prioritize the kids that has higher risk of autism. Also she stated that, its not her job since my son is already 6 years old, and she can only recommend ages 5 and under. She also mentioned that the school just want to make money out of it for the sessions.I was saddened by her action and still asked her, regardless whatever little that there’s something wrong with my son, I want to know. She responded, “if there is, what can you do about it?” And I said, then I will have a peace of mind and will actually know how to deal with my son. She then said “Well, you’re supposed to deal with it anyway as any regular parent, to nirture your son as what you’re supposed to”. She also added that “there’s nothing you can do if ever your son has mild autism”I felt furious, and still insisted I wanted to have my son assessed. Dr.Greeta Sukhrani then told me” Well if you go to private it would cost you alot of money,like $3,000 can you pay for that?”I can’t believe she would say that, i felt so belittled and discriminated. I just told her “ I don’t care how much or what it takes, I just want my son assessed”. Then she left the room mad and had her assistant gave me a number for a private psychiatrist.This has been the worst experience in my life! For someone you had hope to help and care for your kids, turns out to be the opposite. I will never come back to Dr.Greeta Sukhrani anymore.Oh, and my insurance informed me that they will cover $10,000 of assessment and treatment if my son would need it.Hope no other parent would ever experience this. Nobody deserves to be treated like this, and every child is entitled to get help regardless of status in life or severity of concern. Let’s be kind and help each other and not discourage a person to get some help…

Terrible to reach them

Her clinic offers very good service. The people that work there are awesome. I love her nurse she always has laughing every time. At every appointment, I have always felt she is well taken care of my daughter. I highly recommend Dr. Sukhrani as your child's primary care physician. They will be in excellent hands.

I lost my daughter because of her... she didn't know how to deal with the 1 month old kid. Please don't choose this doctor. Zero starMy daughter was crying so hard . I still remember how rude she was with her

Clinic is clean, staff is friendly and also very knowledgeable doctors.
