Bulk Barn

I havent really ever used bulk barn frequently. However since the pandemic began I've been baking more often and have gone to bulk barn a couple of times. I've utilized the online ordering system which has been incredibly easy. But have also been in store. The staff have been so amazing and patient. The stores are literally taking all of the proper precautions. Bulk Barn is the one store I've felt truly safe in. This is a store I see myself going to much more now that I know they really care about their staff and customers.

Great place to get the amount you need without wasting anything and a surprising variety of ingredients, candy, baking material, etc.

It's an nice store usually very clean. Apparently you don't actually need to wear a mask over you nose or mouth. I base that on the other costomers in the store not wearing them properly and the staff not saying anything

A shout out to Michelle at Pendale! Not only did she help,me find the item I needed but also printed the recipe for using it! She went above and beyond ! What a wonderful help she was today ! Thank you Michelle!

I usually visit this location and everyone is very friendly. I went today and a worker was standing in front of the door on her phone and having a smoke. I didn’t get one foot away from my car until she yells at me “We are closed...it is inventory day”. Not a problem, I completely understand, although at the bulk barn I used to work at we always did our inventory starting at 5am so that it did not interfere with our customers experience. I understand that this needs to be done, but it is not a good look having an employee smoking in front of the door yelling at customers that you are closed.

Today employee Michele at the Glendale Bulk Barn went above and beyond her duties. She was extremely gracious, patient and helpful to a customer who was somewhat difficult.

Michelle was super helpful and made our experience delightful. Love the selection of non gmo protein powders.

During this pandemic, the policy is that the employees must get the items for you and when it comes to bulk foods, I get that. But not everyone wants bulk foods, but you still have to wait in line for things like a chocolate bar or baking pans. There's a sign on the door that explains this but not all people know how to read, especially a lot of the older generation. When you walk in, there's no one at the door to tell you anything or to answer questions and no ropes to block people from entering the store. While I was there, I witnessed people unknowingly just walking in, while others waited in line. That is not the fault of the customers but that of the management for not thinking this out better.

Service can be better ..They only provide CURB SIDE PICKUP. No clear instructions regarding online service. You basically have to call the store and I can only assume they take your order down and you pick up the items. No this is not a true online service. Very difficult to use..and I do not recommend. Pricey store. My criticism is with the HEAD OFFICE and not the store.

Everything you need for Christmas baking at reasonable prices. Including snack food.....
