I think you should know what to expect when you walk in here and see the aged decor. Make sure to order something easy to make cause the chef is only talented with a small variety.I found that they were making up for a lot. Took an hour to get food despite being mostly empty, but they have a decent beer selection. Poutine came with grated cheddar rather than the squeak cheese that was advertised, and some of the gravy was a bit chunky. Fries are AMAZING i havent had fries like that in a while. The waitress was kind if not a bit tired, which is understandable. I came looking for a crappyish bar in a small town after a long day and i found it, and got that homey feeling.

I ordered a double paralizer in the pub.... the man was extremely rude .When it came. I mixed it . .....it was chunky...curdled . I went up and told him. He yanked the drink out of my hand threw it in the sink and told me to go somewhere else .... it was the worst experience I have ever had in a pub. He was the rudest person I have ever came across in the service industry.

Nachos were definitely the go to for starter it was cooked all the way through with toppings on the bottom to very well done dish .Definitely will come back again also had the steak sandwich with Caesar dressing medium rare it was so good I forgot to take pics.

Poor service, average food. We were not welcomed, we had to wait 15 minutes just to get a menu. I asked for gravy 4 times and by the time it came, my fries were cold, the gravy was flavorless, AND I found a piece of plastic in it. The server didn't seem surprised when I showed her the plastic, which was concerning, but the 1.50 gravy was removed from the bill. Definitely will not come here again if we happen to ever be in this town again.

Very nice clean facility, lots of table room and a draft special was on. Service was unfortunately indifferent, we did not feel welcome and when we did want to leave had to ask the dishwasher to find the server (who apparently was the owner) in order to pay the bill.

The restaurant is run by a very nice couple, the decor reminded us of the 80's, the portions are large and the food was delicious.
