Patisserie Gateau

This birthday cake was ordered on Sunday by phone. They said we could pick it up today. Upon arriving, they said that we never ordered it! So we decided to order a different cake and pick it a little later instead. When we got it, there were some issues with the appearance: the pink liquid was dripped unevenly and the roses were lifting the top of the cake. These roses are made of cream so it's not possible that the weight of the roses could've done that. To top it off, the cake inside was dark, almost burnt.Overall, the service was inconsistent, the appearance was poor and the taste was unsatisfactory.I purchased cakes here before, but I'm very disappointed in this birthday cake.Will never buy again.

Found hair in my mango box, the realized that the bottom layer of chiffon cake are made of the scrap pieces. Only found out after I got home.

Always busy in a mall that not easy to find parking. mango cake is not cheap. Bread is quite good but not outstanding. When ask about allergies concern, not very friendly.

I ordered a berries fruit cake for my 2years old grandson birthday today which makes me feel very disappointed. According to the display It should be much berries on the top of cake but don't know how much inside. There's only one blackberry and few drops of blueberry with a few pieces thin sliced apples for decorating on the top of cake. There's full of melons such as honeydew ,cantaloupe and less than 5pieces blueberry. I feel the shop is cheating

My happy place: best pineapple bun / BBQ pineapple bun in the GTA!Soft, sweet bread. Crumbly top. Haven't come across a place that does it better in 15+ different locations uptown/downtown.

Very cute bakery with all the staples of an asian bakery despite it's size. The cakes are beautiful. Smells really good in store and the interior is clean and tidy. Would stop in again if I was around! Bought a sausage bun and milk bread whoch were both yummy.

You will not be disappointed!My pictures does not do it’s justice but the taste Of the fresh mango cake is Out of this world!!!The amount of effort and time put in to create this artistic dessert looks time consuming which is definitely worth the cost.As you cut into the cake, Fresh mango chunks started pouring out like lava emitting the beautiful sense of sweet fresh spring. The cake is so spongy, light and fluffy, the image of the soft clouds popped into my head giving me a comfort sensation. The cake had the perfect tint of sweetness that is not overly done made this cake a true 5 ⭐️! Best of all, the price is right!Will be back for other occasions!!

Worse cake experience ever and horrible customer service.I ordered a Chestnut Short cake from Patisserie Gateau for my friend's birthday. Cake presentation was good, but the cake was horrible. The whole cake was tasteless, no sweet taste at all.The cake was only filled with lots cream but with little sponge cake. The chestnut on top of weren't sweet. Overall, can't call it a cake as it was tasteless. Went back to the cake shop next day and told them that, OMG, they didn't even do anything. Just admit that the chestnut is a not sweet and that is all. Didn't even try to apology for this. Very annoying experience, the cake was a rip off!!!"
