We were only in Vancouver visiting for a few days but everything we ordered was soooo good, I wish we had had time to go back before we left! This is a sister restaurant to Virtuous Pie (another gem) and is affiliated with TMRW foods so the smash burger has a TMRW foods patty and it's just amazing. The burger, karaage bao, tuna crispy rice, char siu tacos and spaghetti were all delicious. I couldn't believe the housemade mozzarella was vegan, i had to double-check! Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!!

Had the most delicious brunch here! The totally vegan menu is original and everything sounded delicious but I opted for the peach and onion omelet and it was divine! Strongly recommend this place. I wish I had time to try the dinner menu too+

First time at Mila was a successful brunch! I had the Peach & Onion Omelette and their Aburi Lox Oshi. The omelette was delicious. The texture of the 'egg crepe' was not an exact duplicate, as it feel apart quite easily. That being said, the balance of savoury/sweet was a highlight (however, it seemed like the peaches & onions were on separate ends of the omelette, and not combined throughout). I was excited to try the carrot lox and it did not disappoint. However at $18 for 6 pieces, it's not a cheap 'appetizer.'Service was friendly. I only wish they extended their seating time, especially when the restaurant is not overly busy (their second dining room space was unoccupied). They did allow my group of 2 to stay around 15 minutes over the 2-hour time, but we did feel pressure to go as they kept checking in on us after our plates were cleared, and we expressed we did not want to order additional coffee. Would definitely come back for the food, but it's not the ideal space for a long get together.

Amazing experience at MILA. Had to double check if everything in the menu was vegan because it was super impressive the options they have. The capresse salad was amazing! Super impressive mozzarella texture and flavour. We ordered all their sushi rolls and all of them were amazing! The poke salad was also incredible!

MILA is rooted in plant-based food that tastes just as good as it looks. In fact, the experience is quite magical to say the least. If it's your first time here, I highly recommend ordering the sushi - Aburi Lox Oshi ($15), Ocean Roll ($14), and Mila Roll ($14) are all delightful. Yes, the prices may initially seem steep, but the care and attention that goes into transforming carrots and watermelon into salmon and tuna, respectively, is well worth it. Texture- and flavour-wise, it's a hit. The sauces and toppings too are bang-on to give you the full experience of eating its meatier counterparts.Come visit at lunch to avoid a line, or if you've made reservations or are feeling brave for a walk-in, dine in at night for some drinks as well. The ambiance is great, and so is the service.Suffice to say, vegans, vegetarians, and meat lovers should all find something to rejoice in at MILA.

When my friend knew that I was coming to Vancouver, she recommended this restaurant. Although I'm not a vegetarian, this is the best vegetarian restaurant I've ever eaten at. The first dish I had was Tuna Crispy Rice. While the others were delicious, I wasn't impressed with the others because Tuna Crispy Rice was sooo amazing to me. It tasted so much like real tuna that I had no idea that it was actually a watermelon. It is an unforgettable vegetarian dish and must-eat in this restaurant.

The sushi thing and the bao were the dishes we liked the most.A little bit overpriced and the service was a little slow (it was late lunch time and the restaurant was almost empty), but the food was good and well presented.

[1/2] Poor service. One of the servers literally ignored us saying we were ready to order. A different server came twice to our table just to say someone was coming to put in our orders while we were waiting. The food was well presented and tasty but the bad service doesn’t make me want to go back. Specially because it’s not on the side of cheap restaurants. I expected more, given the high price and nice atmosphere.[2/2] Apparently Google doesn’t allow a second review on the same establishment. I ended up coming back with a friend because it was a convenient location to our plans. Restaurants in Vancouver are famous for spoiling their costumers on their birthdays with drinks, desserts or discounts. At Mila, when I asked if there was something, as it was both mine and my friend’s birthday, the server said she could provide a candle if we would order dessert! I was chocked. One more reason not to come back, since fortunately Vancouver has some reasonable options for vegan food.

My favourite vegan restaurant in Vancouver right now. Their aburi lox is amazing, along with their Dan Dan noodles. Their desserts always hit the spot. I keep going back with other people. Once a month, they have a brunch drag show, would love to attend sometime!
