Had a lovely first visit here. The hygienist was pleasant and thorough. The dentist explained things well to me and was very personable.

I recently visited Toothworks for a check-up and cleaning. It had been quite some time since my last dental visit and I was apprehensive as my last encounter at the dentist (at a different practice) was not great. Krista my hygienist was kind, compassionate and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. She listened attentively, asked wonderful questions and provided helpful recommendations to improve my health. Not to mention my teeth feel amazing today!! Thanks so much for your care and attention.

We had a terrible experience taking our son to Toothworks, as he was suffering from a fever and painful gums. Our regular dentist was unavailable, so we sought help at this clinic. The dental assistant and the dentist questioned my wife about our son's oral hygiene, implying that his inflamed gums were a result of inadequate care. We brush and floss his teeth daily, so this assumption was unwarranted and unfair. The dentist continued the line of questioning, inquiring about the date of his last teeth cleaning and why it wasn't conducted during his previous dental visit. This again felt accusatory, as we consistently ensure our son attends his dental appointments. Later, the diagnosis of herpetic gingivostomatitis was provided, and a prescription for Acyclovir 5% ointment was given. However, this medication is only intended for external use and not suitable for oral application.Fortunately, a pharmacist noticed the error, and we confirmed the inaccuracy through a telehealth service consultation. We are disappointed with the poor treatment we received and the improper prescription of medication. Instead of receiving support and guidance during a distressing time, we felt accused and judged as parents. Subsequently, our daughter developed the same symptoms, and both children have been diagnosed with strep throat infection rather than poor oral hygiene.

These people are amazing they took the anxiety I told then I have and helped me to feel very much at ease and comfortable, they showed me what was wrong, and gave me great care and honest understanding. So Amazing for my first visit, im now not so scared as I was to go back and get all the work I need, done!

Had a tooth taken out, the needle didn’t even hurt. Very professional and great disposition. My daughter wanted to see the tooth after it was removed so they put it in a lil sterile bag and let me take it home instead of taking a pic with my phone. Definitely the place to go if you’re afraid of the dentist. (Update) they are refusing my service for no reason and are telling me “don’t call us we’ll call you” it’s been 2 weeks I’ve called 4 times.

This place has the worse customer service. The front desk staff are rude, being the first patient of the day be prepared to wait at leat 30 minutes after your appointment to see the dentist as he is late to work daily. Also be prepared to receive a bill a year later and NEVER ever be notified that you owe any money. New dentist all the time and office staff they can't seem to keep employees. Stay far away from his place...

Tooth works: DONT EVER GO THERE.My son went there for a checkup and cleaning. Only his second time there. Secretaries are ridiculous. The receptions lies, send incorrect invoices to insurance company. When you dispute the onformation, they hang up on you. They lie to insurance company. They claim manager will call you an never do.

I've grown tired if waiting for the plan" that apparently only Dr. J can do for me. They left me in pain with two broken front teeth for over a month and now it's been over 6 weeks since removal and they never ever call back when I call for information to move forward"

One of my dental fillings fell out and I wrote it on the form. I came to the university's contracted dental clinic, Tootworks Boardwalk Dental. The clinic secretary asked if I had insurance. I said I am a student and he took my student ID. She said that I could be examined later and that she had an insurance contract with the university and arranged an appointment. I was examined on July 28 and X-rays were taken. Then the teeth were cleaned. But I didn't want a teeth cleaning. After the procedures, the secretary asked me to pay that my insurance was not active. I showed my verification correspondence with the university. However, I had to pay. Then I asked for an appointment for the filling and the secretary said she couldn't arrange an appointment and she refused me. She showed that my insurance was not active as a reason for this. I couldn't understand why she didn't make an appointment for the filling, even though she said I could be insured treatment in my first application. I feel scammed. Thereupon, she immediately asked me to pay the dental cleaning and x-ray fee, and then she said that insurance activation was required for the filling. She didn't give me an appointment. I'm not working and I'm just a student. Now I'm trying to take food with my unfilled tooth. I find the secretariat and management mentality of this clinic very bad. I feel like I have to get my teeth cleaned. But I cannot criticize the doctors, their expertise was good. The management policy and secretariat of the clinic was not honest and fair.

Dr Mark is Fantastic! ~ I put off getting a crown done on my front tooth for years. I was so worried it would ruin my smile. Finally I got the courage to get it done. Am I ever glad I did, the temporary looks great! I can’t wait to see the permanent tooth! Thanks Dr Mark & Toothworks The Boardwalk! My smile looks as good as ever!
