A BC Assessment agent was extremely rude & aggressive on a property assessment review hearing. He did not send me a document I requested in discovery and he cross examined me as if it was in criminal court. He call the appraisal I submitted that was done by an independent appraiser with 20 years of experience absurd and steam rolled me in deliberation. He also conspicuously calculated my land to be worth $666,000 which is very unlikely to have been an accident. In the end I only had 8 minutes to present my evidence which was far too rushed as it was a complicated appraisal. We ran out of time in the 4 minutes we had to deliberate. The panel was not able to make any decision due to lack of time to review the evidence sufficiently. I'm very disappointed by the appeal process. A supervisor apologized to me and gave me instructions on how to proceed to appeal to the next level.

no indication that they are in this building but if you phone them they are. One guy promised to get back to me, still waiting 6 months later!!
