Stopped in after the beach, better than expected for a conveince store. tasty deep fried food for the price. Deep fried pickles are a must !

We stopped in for snacks & ice & also left with a few Canadian crafted dry soup mixes from the Mitchell Soup Company. We haven't prepared them yet, but it seems like the perfect way to cook on the road without buying a lot of ingredients - mix-in a few fresh items like potatoes, onions, or meat & you'll have a prepared meal in no time. There is an eatery there too, but it was closed when we went mid-day. They had a few items in the cooler (parfait, chicken salad sandwiches, couscous); some meal items in the freezer (lasagna, burgers, dinners) & frozen fruit; few shelves of spices (great selection!), jams/jellies, relishes, etc. All food item prices were close to the Freshmart prices if not better which is impressive for a small market. Behind the register was a huge selection of various over-the-counter pharmacy items. The workers are very friendly & helpful.Added note 6/18/23: Since our purchase, we tried both dry soup mixes - loaded potato & harvest pumpkin w/apples. Both were so delicious & filling we will be buying more mixes soon! Each soup mix yielded 8 servings which were eaten with bread over 4 nights. Perfect for hiking days!

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Picked up odds and ends of things we needed at the cottage we had rented in Ingonish Beach. We celebrated my sister's birthday while staying in the area and ordered a cake, telling them the day. It was ready on time and looked amazing. It was beautifully decorated and absolutely delicious!

Lovely people, such an essential part of this community, the store has pretty much anything you'd need while on a roadtrip and the icecream is amazing!

With Absence of Coffee Shops ( Starbucks, Tims) in this area, this was our go to place for coffee!

A convenience store and a fast food service in one place. Clean, spacious, and has a small seating area for dining in. They have a bit of merchandise from Clay’s Confectionary Shop downstairs, so it was great to pick up a box of candy from there even though the actual shop was closed. I got the iconic Cape Breton pizza burger from here and there was a microwave available to heat it up.

On trail one can gets everything of daily need. It opens up late till 9 pm. Stuff is fresh.

Fresh, delicious grub in a pinch. Fast and friendly service. Definitely glad I stopped by.

Loved this place! We stopped in for a quick bite and ordered calzones from the counter, which were worth the wait because they were delicious. I think I was charged a dollar extra but I didn’t even care it was so good. I didn’t try the ice cream, but I’ll be back. Stay safe!
