I have had the experience of doing 2 medical research and every time I have been assisted by very profesional and caring people. People are kind, place is clean and provides all the necessary to be comfortable at. People at the contact center are also very kind and helpful. I definitely recommend this place my experience has been amazing.

Novum is great! I did my first study a couple of weeks ago with them and I felt really safe. Volha took really good care of me and was amazing at finding my veins.The staff in the clinic and the contact center are great, they are very friendly and respectful to the volunteers (even though it is hard sometimes to deal with the different personalities of the volunteers).

Unprofessional, disorganized, inefficient. Having done studies here before the food is almost inedible, the facility is tight and uncomfortable and you constantly have to ask for things that should be a given. This last experience was the end of it. Showed up for a medical and had to wait for 40 minutes to be checked in because their systems were down. Called for my results where I was put on hold for over 3 hours on a line that, I later found out, is not in use. When I finally reached someone I was told I was given a different number to call. But they never answer the phone and if the line is not picked up it directs you to call the number that does not work. Figured I'd do this one last study and then be done. Then just days before the study was told I had been dismissed due to a simple and obvious conflict that should have been recognized and dealt with when I called to apply for the study A MONTH AGO. Volunteer anywhere else, save yourself some time and dignity.

Great staff, (clinic + contact Center). They really care about the well being of the volunteer. They recently changed the menu of the meals, showing that the feedback of their volunteers is appreciate it. For me, this is the best place to participate with as a volunteer. I feel safe with them.

It is currently 2:21am January 4 ,2020 check in was January 3 between 1-3:30 it took about 4-5 hours to check everyone in and get settled down. Around 12am I’m getting ready for bed a noticed a burning pain on my foot I ignored it and went back to bed. 1 hour later the same thing happened again but on my toe, I then search the bed and found beg bugs. I told the staff and they were looking and acting as if I brought it from my house! I’m very upset and scared to sleep now ! This is my first and last

I did a study 4 nights per week last July 2018 for one month. Each week we came in we were told bed bugs were found. For a building that is a clinic that extracts oodles of blood from their volunteers, the facility is not sterile let alone cleaned regularly.My advice, do short in and out studies. Do longer studies at your own risk!

Time wasters and plain disorganized. Getting called in for screening, they take covid test, wait for results, then ask a whole bunch of questions, get the documents signed and initialled. Then proceed to get body readings, only to say one of the reading is out of range for eligibility of the study and end up wasting a whole hour for nothing that could've been avoided by doing that before all the question-asking and signing/initialing. They couldn't make that range of eligibility clear upfront in the study criteria? Utter incompetence. There are other places to check for studies than this place which lacks professionalism on how to deal with people called in for study screenings.

Lambda Canada Is A Good Place To Make Extra Money, But Do Not Depend On It!I wish I could live off of Clinical Study Volunteer Work, but it is Impossible!You can Only do these types of Studies that You Qualify for Once Every 30 Days, meaning that once You Do It, then You Must Wait A Whole Month Before You Can Do The Next One!Sometimes they have longer studies such as the one (1) that I am currently doing which lasts for about Six (6) Months with a lot of Return Visits!Currently, there are about Four (4) Clinical Research Companies Operating in the Toronto, Ontario Canada G.T.A. area and they all have Up-To-Date Databases to keep up with their Volunteers.All Of The Locations Know The Following About Their Volunteers:Who Has Done A Study?Where Did They Do The Study?When Did They Do The Study?Etc.It would be Very Difficult to go from one (1) study to the next which basically means that You Still Need To Keep Your Day Job and just do these studies at your leisure.Here Is The Current List Of The Toronto G.T.A. Area Clinical Studies Locations As Of Monday, September 9, 2019:Pharma Medica Research Inc.Biopharma Services Inc.Lambda CanadaCliantha ResearchWhen You contact any of the Clinical Studies locations, they will ask You a bunch of Health Related Questions to see if You Qualify and then depending on the Outcome, they will Invite You to their location for a Blood/EKG/Health Screening.If You Pass, then You will be able to participate in one of their sessions which can last for Two (2) Weekends, or longer depending on the study and the Pay is Good, but Once Again, Do Not Depend On It!You will Not Get Rich From It!Before You enter their clinic, there will be some Food/Drink/Nicotine Restrictions that You Must Follow in order to get properly paid by the time You Finish Their Whole Screening Process.If You Do Not Follow All Of Their Rules/Restrictions i.e. No Caffeine, Chocolate, Poppy Seeds 48 Hours Before Entering The Clinic and/or No Grape Fruit For The Past 7-14 Days, then You will Not Get Paid For The Full Amount, Period and/or May Not Even Be Allowed To Participate At All In The Clinical Trial!For ME: This is My Third (3rd) Time in doing a Clinical Trial and My Biggest Problem that I have is with their Needles, but I am Now Used To It and Typically I Sing While Receiving The Blood Withdrawals!I Personally Despise Needles!It Is Obvious!Yes, I have tried the Catheter On Several Clinical Trials that I have participated in, but the problem is that the Catheter Sometimes Clogs Up and then I have to receive the Blood Withdrawals Manually and that is What I Hate The Most!Other Than That: The Food Is Great Over Here because they Feed Us Swiss Chalet"!Regarding: WiFi: That has been Drastically Improved since I Complained About It!Regarding Plug Outlets: No Problem There because they are Conveniently Located right beneath the chair that You Will Be Sitting On While Waiting for Your Blood Withdrawal.Regarding: Entertainment: They do have a Large Screen Television and You Can Watch Various Television Shows such as Sports Programs which are Quite Popular and they do Offer Movies as well! The last time that I stayed there I got to watch the movie called "Bohemian Rhapsody" which was Very Good!I would Definitely Recommend Lambda Canada to anybody seeking out an Excellent Way to Put Some Extra Cash Into Your Pocket!Thank you.Sincerely yours
