When it's there its beautiful. Like being at the lake without the long drive. Everyone picks up after themselves and looks after the area like a good community. The little fishies in the shallows are fun to watch.

Empty enough to go but very little beach space. No real sand. Mostly clay which actually felt pretty nice on the feet. No swimming allowed.

Crowds arnt too big which is nice. It's actually quite peaceful with only a few groups on either side of the river.The water is pretty nice most of the time.Not everyone keeps the beach tidy sadly and this is part of the issue.The other is that the climb down can be treacherous footing for those without some hiking experience.

Trail was good, there were picnic tables, public washroom, dog park good riverside view almost everything is good.

One of the best natural settings and the only beach in Saskatoon. It is fun an relaxing. The sand is very very soft like more river beds it's very fine.The current is very strong so do NOT swim. Dip your toes in but know it's a river so the bottom is always changing shape. One step it can be ankle deep and the next can be over your head.If you do get caught in the current swim with it and swim back to shore. Never swim against a current.

Not safe for small children or persons who can not swim. City bylaw signs stating 'no swimming'
