Mr. Lube + Tires

Matthew and his team were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They helped me to understand the work being done on my vehicle and and took the time to walk me through everything. I really appreciated their kindness at a time I felt stressed. Would highly recommend them.

Amazing service, very professional and speedy service. While in a pinch driving a vehicle across the country for someone, and faced with needing new rubber on a Sunday none the less, I called and spoke to Jordan who found me a set of tires and put them aside for me as I was still a couple hours away. When I arrived, he had me in and out within a half hour and didn’t spare any details on exactly what he was doing. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area needing any sort of vehicle maintenance or tire service.

The guys who work here are professionals in their field. Not only did they do a great job changing the oil, they also helped me with the CarAdvise service. I work for the delivery service Instacart, which gives me an additional discount on oil changes. The guys were not too lazy to call me and figure out how to get a discount in their service.I have recently arrived in Canada and this is my first experience with an oil change service. I was 100% satisfied.

Never been to the sterling lyon location before for an oil change. Didnt have to wait long and Paul was very helpful and friendly. It took no time and was off and driving again. I have always have a great experience at Mr Lube.

I used to change engine oil by myself. I booked long trip so I was lazy to change it that’s why I visited Mr lube to change it quick. Later I found they didn’t change oil filter. It was fully plugged sludge around filter which I put it before. I am so disappointed with it and will never visit there again. Drained oil also fully dark, I assumed they didn’t put proper type of oil too.

Please take your time to review the one star reviews, they are right about this place! They are nice until you decline their service and I never remember paying this much for an oil change!If you decide to spend a few hundreds on an oil change, go for it!Windshield wipers for $70, while you are promoting it for free with oil change? It’s a joke! $90 for the same filter that Canadian tire sell for $20? And took almost 30mins for oil change. (Because they keep telling to replace this and that!!)

Not trustworthy. I know they have the habit of upselling products( most of which you don't need) and I politely refuse most of them. This year, I was travelling and my daughter had to bring in my vehicle for a tire change. They managed to convince her to buy rims for the tires ( to save money for seasonal tire change). Guess what? Now the wheel covers don't fit anymore. I'm not sure if this is just a cosmetic change but they should have mentioned this before making the change. Stay away from here!

Can't really comment on the service because I didn't receive any! It's a Wednesday late morning, no cars waiting outside for any bay (check the pictures), so I'm the only vehicle there waiting, and 37 minutes later I had to put it in reverse in leave without so much as an update, comment, or visit from anyone to advise me on what the delay was all about. Strangest thing as there were 3 cars inside the shop and not one of them moved in that entire time! And just as odd is the bay that I was initially instructed to wait for (next to be leaving) had closed the hood and paid for their services shortly after I pulled up but again after that, and for over half hour, nothing happened!! This was my first time here as I decided to give them a try since they are now near a place I frequent but after this failure I'll just stick to my usual spot close to home. So if you're looking for a routine and quick oil change don't come here. I wouldn't be able to imagine what it's like during a rush period! And to the owner who I see is active in replying sorry" and "please email us here..." etc etc

On June 1st 2023 around 5:00 pm my girlfriend brought her car in for an oil change and to have her winter tires swapped out. They claimed that due to a nail puncture in one of her summer tires that it was not safe to repair and she needed to buy four new tires for $1600. They claimed to “be her friend” and that she could trust them. Only after her calling me they admitted to her that two tires would suffice. After more push back they tried several other ways/discounts to pressure her to make a hasty decision. She left and took the tire to a different tire shop who patched the tire without dispute for $35. Her tires were almost brand new. They tried to manipulate and take advantage of someone to doesn’t have experience with cars.
