My husband and I hired Bellamy Custom Homes to build our dream home in Elora. This was our first experience building and I can honestly say it was one of the best customer service experiences I have ever encountered. The first day we met with Josh, we knew he was the builder for us. Hiring someone to build your home is a major decision and not one to be made lightly. Josh, from the start of the process was responsive, honest, kind and knowledgable. Josh encouraged us to make our own decisions, but also assisted in any areas that we needed guidance. His trades were all friendly, approachable and professional. The timelines Josh gave us were realistic and timely. We even moved into our home 7 days prior to the expected completion date (can you even believe that!?). We were building with COVID shortages and price increases, but this didn't effect our home or build process in the slightest. My husband followed the entire process and he is very fussy and particular, he was extremely impressed with the overall high quality of work in every single area of our house. If and when we build another house, there is no doubt we will be hiring Josh and his team to build for us. We will recommend Josh to everyone we meet or anyone we know. I recently used Bellamy Custom Homes for a major addition/renovation on my house in Guelph. We added a 600sqft addition over our garage and completely gutted the entire existing house. We had interviewed 3 well know builders in the area and selected Josh because of how honest and responsive he was during the quoting process. My wife and I both felt most comfortable with him. We were extremely happy with the entire process from start to finish. All of the trades that worked on our house did excellent work and were very respectful. Josh was always available to answer our question and very accommodating with any changes that we wanted to make throughout the process. We are thrilled with the end result and would recommend him to anyone looking to do a renovation or new construction project.

Bellamy was referred to us. We reached out with a request for a discussion on a renovation we were doing on a new one we had bought (but not yet living in). We had originally reached out about one job and when he learned we had two he asked to if he could quote on both. He told us he couldn’t do the one job until August and we said that was totally good with us. With CoVid, it was difficult to get into the home to show Josh the job. We rearranged timing at his request to work with his schedule. He then showed up late. Then, we had to follow up with him multiple times to ask when we could expect a quote. When he finally replied it was to tell us he couldn’t fit us into his schedule and wouldn’t be quoting. We asked for a better explanation as he had already told us it wouldn’t happen until August. Days later he got back to us to say his calendar is full until the end of the year. Kudos to you if the last 5 months of the year completely filled up in one months time, but I doubt it. We feel you completely wasted our time and that your port responsiveness and the way in which you conducted yourself with us was extremely unprofessional .
