Steves Towing

Steve's the man. Popped a flat on the highway, he sold us a new tire and changed it for us in less than an hour. We're from out of town and he saved us from getting towed and having to wait overnight for the shop to open in the morning. Thanks Steve, cheers.

Steve went way out of his way to help us when we were broken down in Clinton.His service and prices were very good.It was a pleasure to meet his mom and daughter too.Great people.

I was travelling up to 100 Mile House this May long weekend with my two young grand children. Travelling northbound, a deer jumped out in front of me and unfortunately I hit it. My car was totalled. Thankfully, we were not seriously injured. The police and ambulance arrived and the officer contacted Steve’s Towing to come and get my car. Steve was the nicest person! Not only did he tow my car to his yard, but gave me and my grand children a ride there. They were so excited to ride in ‘a real live tow truck’ . Since he lives there, he let us stay until my husband was able to come and get us. His lovely wife Crystal, greeted us like we were family and we truly enjoyed a wonderful day with them in their home. My grand children had a great time playing in their backyard and swimming in their pool. To them it was a great adventure. What could have been a very scary day for all of us turn out to be a warm and inviting time. Steve’s mom Judy runs the thrift store and was so wonderful to the boys by giving them each a small stuffed animal to keep. Thank you all for making us feel safe and welcome in your home. I will pop in to see you whenever I come by your way again. Your professionalism and humanity is beyond anything I can say. There are not a lot of people out there who would take strangers in to their home and welcome us as you did. Thank you so, so much for everything. You made our day!!!!

Licensed and Insured now no thanks to the town of Clinton where everything was closed for the weekend but thankfully absolutely wonderful people like the ones at Steve's towing helped. The police jacked me up for no license and no insurance and it just happened to be Steve's driveway I pulled into and they let me park the car there for a couple days and didn't ask me for one cent for it being parked there for a couple days. Thank you very much by the way Steve's towing you folks are stand-up right decent people. Next time I'm down there I will bring a 6 pack for you.

Towing our small camper trailer through the Clinton area we suffered a major breakdown that included the axle on our trailer becoming damaged beyond repair. Steve towed the trailer to his yard and repaired it. The trailer is an older model though, and the axle was no longer produced. Steve sourced out one in a close size then took it to a shop to get it machined down to the right size, then re-installed it and a new wheel replacing one that had been destroyed at the same time. All for a very fair price. We were lucky to find him. This repair could have been considerable work and extra expense at our end if not for Steve.Thanks Steve, we appreciate all you did.Dave and Colleen

After we hit a deer, Steve was quick to arrive on scene and assist. He was able to confirm the condition of the vehicle, aided in removing the deer from the road, and reassured us throughout the process. Steve was also willing to stay on site with us until help arrived, and offered to be available as necessary throughout the ICBC claim process. Thanks again Steve!

My son and I were hunting in November of 2022, just northwest of Loon Lake, when our Dodge 1500 pickup truck became stuck in very deep snow. We were stuck in a spot where nobody could see us off of the main logging roads, back quite a ways. Not many people out there, only other hunters travelling the main roads. Very quickly I realized we needed to be rescued but I was afraid that nobody would be willing to come out to such a rough area. Steve was my first call. He is so easy to talk to on the phone and takes time to put your mind at ease with detailed and timely information. Together we decided to stay with the truck and Steve made sure we could survive the night at minus 25 and explained, in detail, his plan to rescue us the next morning. We had a good amount of food and supplies but was still scary thinking about how hard it would be to walk out if we had to. His son and a friend, who had knowledge of the area, found us after a bit of searching and kept in contact with us very nicely. Those guys worked so hard to free us from the snow, ice and mud. Very friendly and easy going. Once we were out and on more level ground, they changed the flat tire which was a bit tricky with all the snow. They stayed with us on the drive out, all the way to the main road, to make sure we got out. Steve, his son and friend are great guys. Thank you for helping us!Gord and Bryce
