Mike V's Automotive Diagnostic & Repair

I have gone to Mike V's twice and both experiences have been to say the least, very interesting. The first time I went in they worked with in my budget which was awesome and the only good thing I can really say. When I got in my car how ever I found the vibrator box I had forgotten to pull out my car on the front seat floor no where close to where I had hidden it so no one would see it unless they went through my car, the issue at the time was a front wheel problem, nothing to do with the inside of my car. The second time I went in I explained my issues and there was a burning rubber/brake smell coming from either my back brake or from the tail pipe. When I got my car back they said absolutely nothing was wrong and it was probably the salt or what ever they used on the road during winter heating up and burning off. Yeah no it's a shredded belt causing issues that they should have noticed right away with the amount of damage that was done. Already had very little trust after the first incident and now this just made me loose it all.

Would recommend to anyone who asks. Went in with a quote from dealership 2 pages long. They actually want to help not just take your money. Showed me I only need 1 thing done, saved me hundreds if not thousands of wasted money.Not to mention I missed my appointment today, entirely my fault, went in to pay for last service since they said it would just carry over until everything’s all done. I apologized and gentlemen at front desk was so nice didn’t question anything just asked when I could come in again to make sure everything gets fixed!11/10

Took my 2002 Honda in for service. Award winning service. The service writer was very courteous and listened to my concerns. All issues resolved at an affordable price. Highly recommended.

My daughter was passing through town and her check engine light came on i sent her to this shop and they where very helpfull and i would recommend this place to anyone.

My daughter was very happy with her service at Mike V's. She said she was greeted warmly by everyone when she walked in. Her conversations with the owner were informative, pleasant and she felt pleased with the cost.

These guys are Awesome & super honest. I always get nervous going into automotive shops as a single female. Will only go to these guys when I’m in Vernon. Highly recommend.

Great service! Got me in immediately and because it was a simple (although necessary) fix they didn't even charge! I will definitely keep them in mind for future repairs and recommend them to others!

Mike V’s is awesome & HONEST! I have been a licensed mechanic for 45 years and have always maintained my vehicles to be environmentally sound, safe & efficient. After living in the West Kelowna area and having 2 out-of-province inspections done locally, I was appalled and felt victimized by the money grab antics of a local ‘big’ chain auto service shop and the way they manipulated clients with their government authority to use the ‘power of the pen’.A friend suggested that I try MIKE V’s in Vernon, so I did, for inspections on 2 other vehicles.The first time I was pleased that the inspection results were all good as expected; of course I made sure that the vehicle was in pristine condition (as I also did in preparation for the earlier vehicle inspections in West Kelowna).The 2nd inspection was on my 25 year old truck on which I had devoted many intense hours of upkeep in the recent months. It also passed the inspection without any issues. As well, Mike gave me a couple of suggestions for keeping the truck’s condition pristine. As I paid my bill at the front desk, I couldn’t help but notice that the majority of the people that were seated in the waiting area were mostly local, elderly, respectable citizens; the type of people that know value and support deserving local establishments. I felt like I was in the right place with the right kind of people all around.I strongly recommend Mike V’s and will gladly steer my friends and family in his direction.Thank you Mike, for your HONESTY & INTEGRETY!

Twice my car has refused to start out of the blue, and both times Mike V's has looked at it as soon as they were able and quickly diagnosed and corrected the problem. The only bad thing I have to say about Mike V's is that they're always busy and are usually booked solid a month in advance. There's a reason, though! Prices are reasonable, service is fast and efficient (once you get in), and everyone there knows their stuff. If you have car troubles that don't need to be fixed right this second, Mike V's is a great choice!(I guess if I'm being petty, I have one other complaint. Their parking is very limited, so they can't really store your car for later. Just FYI.)
