Camp Tournesol - Head office

This is the first year I register my kids (5 and 7) in Camp Tournesol. The camp closest to me was the Mississauga South location. My kids both have little background in French so I wasn’t sure how much they would enjoy or learn at camp. They came back so happy the first day and couldn’t wait to go back! The staff are incredibly friendly and enjoy being around children. They made really good friends right away and always came home with so many stories.I forgot to renew their registration for the third week and their camp location was full so I emailed the nice people at management and they so graciously accepted them.This will definitely be my summer camp choice every year!Thank you Camp Tournesol!

Our son had a lot of fun in this summer camp, and his French has a big jump everyday. Teachers are all friendly, and for sure we will come back next summer.

We had a wonderful experience with Camp Tournesol! My child loved all the activities, the different themes, and speaking French. We were impressed with the caring staff and the organization. Will definitely make Camp Tournesol an annual thing!

My young daughter attended camp at the new Vaughan location this week and enjoyed it thoroughly. She came home speaking French to us each day, talking excitedly about her favourite new friends and teachers.I was a bit worried about this being a new location but the camp leaders quickly improved the drop off lines we saw on the first day and were very responsive to questions and concerns. Masking and hand washing was well enforced as was distanced eating with masks off, and lots of time was spent outdoors.My daughter is pretty sure the art teacher is now her BFF and is looking forward to her next week at camp!

My daughter started the overnight summer camps in 2018 at age 8. She came back saying she wish it was for 2 consecutive weeks. This says a lot because usually we have a summer packed with lots of fun activities and travelling so for her to want to spend a bit more time at Camp Tamarack with Camp Tournesol is very reassuring of so many things. We have very detailed and open conversations about her time spent each time she returns. Based on my daughters reviews of Camp Tournesol and her ambition to become a Camp Tournesol leader some day, I am very proud to send her to the overnight camp every year. I found that going to the French camp has allowed her French to improve. The price is a bit high, in my opinion, but she loves going. So as a single mom I do my best to send her. Thanks CAMP T and keep up the great work!

A very good camp, highly recommended. My daughter come back this year, since she spent at Tournesol the whole entire summer last year. She was very happy and safe there. The teachers took extra care of them when it was heavy raining, and speaking in Fr the whole day it makes a difference for her. She spent all the time outside, that is also what I and she wanted.

Both my children ages 6 and 8 attended the Vaughan camp for one week. They had a great time and they will be back next summer for multiple weeksStaff are coopérative and caring and the week was a great warm up for grade 2 and 3 French Immersion

All of my kids (5, 5, and 11) loved Camp Tournesol! My oldest attended camp last summer and begged to go back this year. Friday pizza day is a big hit with the kids, and gives me a break from packing lunches. The counsellors were all wonderful and it gave my anglophone kids practice speaking French during the summer break (they attend a French school).

This was one of my daughter's favourite Summer camps this year. She was at the Etobicoke location and really enjoyed the experience. She made lots of new friends in just one week and enjoyed the variety of activities the camp provided. Water day and carnival day were her favourites! Thanks Camp Tournesol for a great French experience.

Camp Tournesol has been a great experience for my daughter. The program was simple but fun and engaging, and allowed my daughter to express herself in French through drama, song, and play. The councellors ensured a safe, cooperative and friendly environment for all of the kids.
