Very beautiful furniture. Staff is friendly.I personally didn't end up purchasing just because of the 4 to 6 month wait for a custom order, but if you're looking to get something from the floor models, you'll probably be happy.

My family recently moved to the Soo and we were in the market for some furniture upgrades for our new home. We were referred to Mio's through a close friend who had a great experience working with them in the past so we decided to just show up one evening. From the moment we arrived at the front door we knew it was going to be a special experience, it felt like we entered into a friends home rather than a retail big box store. We were greeted with a huge smile and two arms waving us in (even though they were actually closed when we arrived) oops.Upon entering we were met by a gentlemen named Jav who stayed with us for an additional 2.5 hours as we looked through the store at a a number of options. Jav never left our side the entire time, no cell phone in his hand and no distractions to think of, we were the only ones that mattered. We later found out that Jav is the owner, so it meant that much more to know the owner stayed that late to ensure our experience was of the highest quality. (It should be noted we had a fairly tight budget and by no means we were spending a lot of money).Jav worked relentlessly with us over the next week providing guidance as well as interior design options and he even came to our house to see the space before he made any recommendations. Jav made excellent recommendations and tried a number of pieces before we landed on the final decision. He even showed up with an electrician to move an outlet to lower our mounted TV because it was too high and didn't look right. At no point during the entire week was Jav ever more than 5 minutes in returning a text or phone call. The entire experience was first-class and at no time did Jav ever put any pressure on us or make us feel obligated to purchase anything. He worked within our budget and also provided payment options which helped us out because we have a young family.The quality of the product is second to none; it's that noticeable at first sight and feel and we know it will stand the test of time. If you're looking to feel like a real customer, get world class service and product, and know that your hard earned money is appreciated when being spent, then Mio's is your only choice, hands down! This was the best experience we've ever had anywhere, period. Thank you to Jav and the entire team at Mio's for making my family's experience the very best and welcoming us to the Soo. We will definitely be back again.

Absolutely awesome! The owner went above and beyond to help me and the staff works together as a team. The Canadian made sofa (in my choice of custom fabric) came in at a price point conparable to others.

Brought a box spring in February had it wore out this month called them and spoke to Audrey she greeted with a friendly voice and made sure it taken care of the box springs couldn’t be fixed but manger offered a full refund would really recommend this place

They don’t pay attention for their clients. We ordered the area rug online through this store, the quality was pretty low, the color looked different and then they refused to pay the whole amount without letting us know there is restocking fee before the order. We just left them money for nothing. Cheap business!

My issue was discussed with Jav ( over a phone call) and I'm sure it will be solved. September 18th update. Mio's service man ( Anthony ) solved the minor problem with sofa. He also measured windows for blinds. Thankyou Anthony for a great job. Thankyou Mio's ( Jav ) for service . Great service after the sale.

Beautiful furnishings, highly customizable upholstery, very attentive staff.

Large selection of very modern products in town as well as service before and after the sale is above the rest. Staff always willing to go the extra mile.

We feel the owner needs to reevaluate what makes a business successful. A successful company is no longer one that just makes money. A successful business should include respect, honesty and fairness to customers. We had a terrible experience with Mio's and we even gave the owner another chance to show us that we were valued but Mio's is no longer a place where we feel our business is appreciated and a place where we feel comfortable. We could not in good faith recommend Mio's furniture and for that we feel sad because at one time it was a place where we felt at home. A small town business should always make you feel at home.
