I have been a loyal customer for many years. This food is amazing. The goat roti is one of my favourites. The hot is for those who like a lot of heat. Lunch time is very busy, cash is also the most preferred. There is limited seating but food is great for takeout. You can call your order in advance but end of week lunch rush will still require patience for your pick up.

I will start by this: the food was AMAZING!!!! We ordered the chicken curry roti, goat curry roti and a side of rice. The goat and chicken melted in our mouths with a really nice flavor. I will say that the potatoes in the curry were a bit too mushy, as well as more dhalpuri mix in the roti itself. Use that pepper sauce lightly! There should also be an option for plain rice, since thats what we were hoping to get, instead of rice and peas :)That being said, the pricing on the menu was outdated. As well, the term roti" is pretty specific

SHANDRA'S IS THE PLACE TO GO!!We were having a Christmas potluck and I wanted to bring a little bit of Jamaican to the table we got the goat roti and the curry chicken roti cut it up in a few pieces so everybody could have a bite. This was my first time ordering here and the atmosphere was amazing from the moment you walk in.This little restaurant is clean, open and welcoming!The customers waiting in line we're engaging in great conversation it's like family coming home to Auntie Shandra's to get some food to bring home.Everything tasted fresh and wonderful!I regret Not getting the black cake! NEXT TIME. Will definitely come back to try the other dishes the seating is comfortable bench style seats bring your family you won't be disappointed!Take out as fast!! if you're in a rush it's a great way to pick up something authentic hearty and made with love.Definitely will be coming back!!

I really wanted this place to be great, but I guess my expectations were too high. I just ordered the roti shells as I had cooked my own curry at home. The dahl roti was just... ok. They had a bit of an aftertaste which probably was the oil they used. I had ordered ahead of time expecting that my food would be ready upon arrival. But, I still had to wait almost 15 minutes for the food. The restaurant was clean, but since it was getting near to closing there were not alot of people. However the staff could smile and be more friendly as it gave off the stereotypical West Indian restaurant vibe. Overall it was just alright for me. There are better shops available in the area, unfortunately they are closed on Mondays.

Very friendly. Good food. Their hot sauce is incredibly hot! We had the doubles and the goat curry with rice. Goat could have been a bit more tender but the flavor was good.

The food was very delicious and the staff were so pleasant. I was amazed at how large and full the dishes were. FYI, the pepper sauce is hot!

Dont bother calling in your order ahead of arriving at this restaurant. You will still have to wait up to 20 minutes for your order. Also check your receipt to ensure you are charged same price as menu price, had bad experience where I was charged more than the menu price and all the owner could say was menu was incorrect. Eventually gave me a pop to compensate but by then I had lost my appetite.

They took 25 minutes to prepare my order. I ordered large jerk chicken with fried plantain. Plantain was so greasy and meal had only small portion of coleslaw. So disappointed for high price $22.

I never leave reviews, but today is that day. I'm so disappointed in the food I received today. I ordered a large goat dinner with rice and peas and coleslaw. It coat me 20 dollars and change. When I got to my car to taste the food, the goat was full of black pepper and no taste. The coleslaw was pretty bland also. I've tasted their shrimp roti before which tasted great...but the goat was terrible. Socks because I just wasted 20 bucks and I'm so hungry. Hope they fix this.
