Her intuitive nature enabled her to recognize what we needed for support and allowed her to adapt to my needs as I transitioned throughout labour. She was also an invaluable support for my husband as she helped guide him through the birthing process, supporting and encouraging him, tag-teaming for rest breaks, and ensuring he knew what was going on at all times. Krista played an integral role in our birthing experience and we are so thankful she was a part of our birthing team. Not only is Krista a phenomenal doula, she is also an incredible artist who was able to capture both of our birth stories through her photography in a tasteful and non-invasive manner. Krista is an amazing doula and photographer. We had her for both births and we look back at these images in awe. Even my two year old was crying last time we looked at them.. she doesn't just catch the birth she captures all the endless love and support surrounding a Mama in labour. Krista is an amazing photographer. She is professional but at the same time makes you so comfortable and at ease with the process. She ensures it is a fun experience.All this aside, her photos are magnificent. Not only did Krista capture beautiful pictures of my family that I proudly display on my wall but she captured the true essence of our family. When I look at those beautiful pictures I see us, our family that loves and laughs together. Krista is a true artist, she puts you at ease during the shoot and almost fades into the background while capturing these amazing authentic pictures. When we sat down with Krista to look at the final pictures it was hard to pick, they were all so beautiful and genuine...just like Krista.

Krista was my doula and photographer for my twin birth. She travelled to Abbotsford a couple days before my delivery and was with me from the moment we left the house and all through the 41 hours of labour and delivery. She was absolutely amazing and I couldn’t have gone through it without her. She stayed an extra day to get fresh 48 pictures and travelled back down for newborn pictures a few weeks later. Krista is kind, gentle, direct, and fabulous. Highly recommend for anyone needing any type of doula or photography!
