I pick up a yard of garden soil, friendly staff and quick service. The soil was good quality. I would definitely return for soil and mulch.

Incredibly rude. Called to inquire about the price per cubic yard of topsoil and I said “hi how are you” to greet the person who answered the call and the reply was immediately “don’t waste my time with pleasantries, I’m busy- what do you want?” After I asked the question directly ($/ cu yard) I was told the price is“the same it was last year”. Which was incredibly helpful lol.They then hung up. Simply shocked this type of behaviour still exists in the world in this day and age but, maybe I should t be. Shocked at how horrible they were.

Staff are always pleasant here. Efficient and reasonably priced. I get my mulch here all the time. You can just drive in and order or get it delivered

Aside from rarely carrying specific fertilizer on any regular basis, there are some generally non-customer friendly staff there unfortunately. Some are moody and downright ornery, from reception to the loader operators. Lower prices used to be the main draw for me but I may skip the unpleasantness in future by purchasing from more public minded establishments. A real shame.

I called to get pricing on triple mix soil and was met on the phone with a very rude, condescending, and impatient person. I was treated as if I was inconveniencing them to have a quick conversation. I would rather pay more money than deal with that sort of customer service.

I was really surprised by my experience there today. In the past, staff have been polite and friendly, although there has rarely been anyone around to help me load bags of soil into my car. Today was a different story. I bought bags of triple mix instead of screening yesterday by mistake yesterday, as the signs for these products were misplaced. When I went back to do an exchange today, I was told that I should have known the difference in an extremely rude manner by both the receptionist and the 'boss'. Although they ended up giving me 3 bags of screening for free, I was shocked at how rude and belligerent they both were. Very disappointed!

I went to pick up some stone and mistakenly walked into the wrong entrance. When the receptionist realized I was standing there (with my mask on) she very rudely told me that I had gone into the wrong door. I didn't see any signs showing otherwise. Instead of politely asking me to exit and go to the correct spot to order, she was extremely rude and basically told me to get out. On my out out the door she shouted that it was for employees only". Will definitely not be returning. If I could rate less than one star I would!"

There prices are as bad as the customer service. The service has always been bad but there prices used to be good now your better off going to Homedepot. You would think by doubling the prices of the bags they could afford hire someone friendly and polite. I will spend my money somewhere else.

Bought topsoil but it seems more like clay. It's been over two weeks of letting it dry out and I can't even break it apart properly with a sledgehammer. When it arrived I called and the woman on the phone said that they sifted as much as they could but it needs to dry out more. I lost four and a half wheelbarrows of rubble that I can't even spread and what I did spread on my lawn is killing it. Spend the extra money and get the big yellow bag. All of my neighbours did and now I know why. I'll never buy anything from 4 Acres of again
