Dr. M. Azam Khan, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Khan for years. He and his team are always kind, compassionate, welcoming, and provide a safe atmosphere. I am very lucky that Dr. Khan is apart of my care team. He makes me as a patient feel respected and heard. Would highly recommend Dr. Khans psychiatric services.

Dr Khan has a very calming effect on me. He listens to me very intently on what I have to say. Since I have started with him we have adjusted my meds and through the past 6 years and I believe have found the right combinations as in it is now allowing me to continue to moving forward not backwards. He is such an inspiration to me. I thoroughly enjoy the talks we have. I highly recommend him to anyone. Thank you DR. Dr Khan is an exceptional psychiatrist.He has taken the time to ask/answer questions that are relevant to my mental health. He is highly qualified in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy as well. I am very impressed with his professionalism as well as his ability to make me feel totally comfortable. He actually talks ‘with’ you and is interested in your health. I’m just sorry that I didn’t have this doctor initially on my mental health journey. Now that I do, I feel so much better.S.Sherman

A genuinely kind psychiatrist. Really seems like he cares for his patients, is comforting, understanding, and respectful. Never makes me feel silly for asking or thinking certain things. Everyone in the office,including the receptionists are welcoming and seem aware that for many people visiting a psychiatrists can be overwhelming. Seeing a smiling face and hearing a kind, helpful voice when you walk in makes everything easier!Though he is busy, I do not struggle to get appointments with him when needed, and don't have to reorganize my whole schedule to be seen regularly. I also love that they call to remind of appointments a day or so before the actual appointment day. His available times go late enough to usually accommodate a working schedule.The building is new, and very accessible. There are wide hallways, and minimal bumps/steps in the building as a whole. Large parking lot as well for parents who maybe wait in the car or for someone who uses an accessible vehicle.My pharmacy has often messed up my prescription, and his receptionists are extremely helpful is sorting things out. No matter how many times I have called stressed out, they are very helping.Overall, as someone who has been with multiple mental health professionals, I recommend him as a psychiatrist!

Dr. Khan is absolutely amazing. He is kind, compassionate and takes the time to listen to you! Even if you have an appointment booked he tells you to call if there are any issues that come up before your appointment! Best of all, he is not a pill pusher and works with you to ensure you are on the best meds for your situation with the ultimate goal of working to try to have you on the least medication or none in the future!! He is an amazing psychiatrist!!! The office staff are excellent as well. You feel welcomed as soon as you walk through the door! Honestly everyone in Dr. Khan’s office is so kind, compassionate and friendly, not to mention totally nonjudgmental!!

Dr. Khan and the ladies in his office are beyond incredible. The office staff are wonderful— they are exceptionally kind and helpful. I was very nervous to see Dr.Khan for the first time as I had negative experience with psychiatrists in the past but to my pleasure he was excellent. He has a very gentle and caring demeanour, he takes the time to hear your concerns and work toward a treatment plan together. I am so grateful to be under his care.

He’s a really great doctor and works with you including your visit times he makes everything flexible to your schedule. The staff is super friendly and are always more than willing to help you too.
