It was the first sunny day in weeks, warm, and just gorgeous. So, we decided to enjoy the weather and our breakfast at the West Coast Grill. We ordered two classic breakfast and added sausage. I was pleased to see that the sausage was a patty. It was heavily spiced and we kept burping the spice all day. The service was slower than expected since they weren't really that busy. But it was a nice space to enjoy the sunshine and outdoors.

Loved the view from the outside tables and had the best chowder we’ve had in a while in addition to a yummy tomato bisque and calamari. It was fun to walk on the dock afterward and watch all the seals.

Had a great lunch experience here today. We had a nice view of the waterfront from our table and the food was delicious. We both had the mussel and clam hot pot. I had the Thai Green Curry sauce and my friend had the spicy chipolte sauce. Service was good and was nice and relaxing atmosphere. I came back here for the weekend with my husband and we had a delicious dinner, lunch and dinner. We had the mussels and clams and the Moa Bowl for dinner and the Tuna Club Sandwich for lunch which was delicious!

I can't rate this place highly enough. We stayed in the hotel that it is attached to. The service was first class. The decor was delightful. Rhe food was exquisite and readonably priced for the quality.

Excellent excellent!! I can’t say enough about this place! GORGEOUS views and the seafood was out of this world. Best halibut I’ve ever had. Our server was awesome!!! She even took many pictures of us.My husband and I want to come back and stay at the hotel. The decor was unbelievable

Loved this restaurant. We traveled from Victoria to Sooke for some hikes and stopped off at the West Coast Grill for lunch. We were sitting on the patio, with a great view of the water. The food was excellent, we shared a bottle of wine, and had great service from Karen. Karen was wonderful, and shared information about her cats, we really enjoyed the service, the food, and the environment. Highly recommended.

The Westcoast Grill was a busy restaurant with extremely nice staff. The seafood was delicious. We had a seafood platter special with an appy of raw oysters in the evening. We enjoyed our meal so much, we went back for breakfast before checking out and got the smoked salmon eggs beni and crab cake eggs beni.The food was cooked perfectly in both the evening and in the morning. Highly recommend if you like seafood.The staff were very attentive but not overly so as to interrupt our night. I prefer to be checked in on for drinks and water but without being bothered every two minutes and I feel that had this balanced perfectly. My girlfriend and I were able to enjoy our meal and time with each other without feeling we were forgotten.

We went to West Coast Grill for my grandpa's 87th birthday on August 27th. I don't remember our server's name... but she was super nice, very attentive and great with the kids! We told her it was his birthday and she had the kitchen write happy birthday on his dessert plate and she put sparklers in his dessert and she sang happy birthday with us. His health is failing and he's in early stages of dementia so we don't know how much time we have. We really appreciate how she helped to make his birthday special, thank you! Thank you to the cooks for making us all delicious dinners and amazing desserts and to the bartenders for the wonderful drinks!
