Good layout and selection of shoes. The staff were very friendly and helpful, was even greeted when I entered the store. Prices are very good and usually some deals going on. Definitely stop in here to have a look before you hit Sport Chek or Footlocker.

Not even 1 star for the way this footwear operates but I had to pick one to post this. I bought a pair of shoes that was not in stock and the store at the Oshawa Centre ordered for me. The attendant did not explain anything regarding the online order in case it needed to be returned/cancelled. If you want to cancel your order, they won't, you can return it once you get it but that means you might not see your money back. Fortunately I did not have to cancel it as I received an email from them 6 days later saying they cancelled the order due to insufficient inventory. However they did not return my money back. I called them several times, every time it is a 30 - 40 min waste. I decided to send a transaction dispute request through my bank as they have stolen my money. It is indeed a very inefficient footwear and thief company.

Really nice store (from the outside) and sales associate. Came to the mall to pick up an online order during lockdown but be warned, you’re supposed to call the store first and they bring the order to your car outside. (Saves a trip so that’s good to know!) but it doesn’t say this in the ready to pick up email, it just says to come to the store; so just letting you all know!

In store 10 minutes, not a single staff member offered assistance. Manager glued behind counter did nothing either. Happy enough to say bye when we left. Lousy experience. Failure of basic customer service principles.

I was greeted with a smile by the staffs and they were helpful when i needed assistance. There are good layout and selection of shoes. Good quality and worth your money.

Went into famous footwear at the Oshawa centre and purchased a pair of Nike shoes. The shoes look like they have been worn before and are slightly dirty so I asked the nice girl Anna at cash if I could have a discount on them. She headed to the back to get a guy named Travis, he was very rude. I told him about the shoes looking as they had been worn before and interrupted me saying “they have been worn around the store” so I replied I can see dirt not just on the soles but on the white part of the shoes. Then he looks up in his computer to tell me there are 26 other pairs in my size he could order for me. I told him that I just wanted to take the shoes today and just wanted to see if I could get a discount since they are dirty. He said he couldn’t do a discount but he would clean them for me LOL how hard is it to give a simple 10% discount when the shoes r no longer brand new?! They r dirty!!! So I paid full price for dirty shoes, thanks again Travis from the Oshawa Centre Famous Footwear. Hopefully you will train your staff to be more polite rather than interrupting and providing sarcastic and rude solutions.

I bought online, and I needed a smaller size. I returned them to the store, and they reordered for me because they weren't available in store. Matthew was helpful and thorough. My new shoes arrived 2 days later!

This is my first stop before going anywhere else for shoes. Always good deals
