My dad passed away unexpectedly and we fell into the hands of McInnis and Holloway Funeral Home. From start to finish they helped us organize a beautiful and respectful funeral for my dad. I didn't live in town so we had a video call and many email exchanges. They were efficent, professional and truly supportive through this whole process. From the KIM family, we thank the staff at McInnis & Holloway for their kindess and support.

The people here are very good at what they do. Where I am frustrated is the website. I am trying to find pricing on urns and keepsakes as we recently had a death and family would like keepsake urns. In the pricing catalogue on the website, all urns have a part that states no price specified. Come on now, don't call something a pricing catalogue the leave us with that gabage

The staff at McInnis and Holloway were kind, sensitive, receptive to all our needs and concerns. One phone number. One main email address that communicates with all locations. Both of these things along with very knowledgeable and responsive staff made the planning easy and stress free.

This past month marked the third family Funeral that the McInnis and Holloway Team has provided for us.My wife and I value and appreciate the advice and guidance we have received for the different requirements of each service.My 2 sister's were both simple cremations with a Memorial Funeral Mass that took place after Cremation.Mom's was a little more complicated, with a Prayer Service held at the Nursing Home down here where she had lived for several years, followed by a Ukrainian Funeral Liturgy Mass up in Edmonton. My parents had both made pre-arrangements with a local Funeral Service Provider up in Edmonton back in 1993.Dad passed away up in Edmonton in 2004 / Mom passed away early 2018 in Calgary. Dad's Funeral went smoothly, but I lost confidence with the long distance conversations in trying to work out Mom's details with the Funeral Director up there.I experienced an enormous sigh of relief when Jeff and Ernie informed me that they would be co-providing Mom's services with the aforementioned Funeral Home in Edmonton, but that they would be assuming the lead - in other words take the driver's seat- and all my queries, printing needs and Every Detail would be handled locally here in Calgary by the People I had come to Know and Trust - McInnis & Holloway.

They made an extremely difficult time easier for our family. We were guided through the process with a care and compassion that was greatly appreciated. High praise for Aaron Beck and all of the staff at McInnis. The service for our Mom was exactly what she would have wanted thanks to the gentle way that we were presented with options without any pressure sales tactics used. I felt taken care of in a way that was greatly needed at this time.

Exceptional staff to plan and have the funeral service, reception, and burial. The lead person kept us on time in a compassionate way. Thank you, Leanne!The night before, we dropped off items for display in the reception area. We liked the way they arranged the items. It's better than expected.The catered lunch had the assortment we expected. The reception staff were incredibly polite!Phil and Jennifer made the ordering process easy.The decor is modern, immaculate, and inspiring. We loved the location because it felt homelike and set near a residential area.I highly recommend the video tribute service, and the large video screens in the lobby, chapel, and reception area highlighted our family member's portrait.

Our experience with McInnis & Holloway (Park Memorial) this past December was excellent.My very elderly mother died in early December and because we are not local to Calgary, we had to travel from the UK to make arrangements. The care, kindness and attention given by the staff at Park Memorial was incredibly helpful and comforting.Our first encounter was with Stephanie Ho who was most sensitive, thoughtful and clear.Our subsequent encounters with Toba and Jennifer at the time of the viewing were equally positive. At a time of such emotional turmoil, they were true ‘gems’.Chris Funk assisted us with several of the practical issues which helped us enormously as we were not local residents and lacked familiarity with them.Several others also provided valuable help with organising the Memorial Service and the needed IT which went alongside. We were given complete freedom to organise the service in the way that suited our family.On the day of the service, we also had great support from another Stephanie (Hulshof?), who oversaw all of the arrangements from McInnis & Holloway’s perspective. She seemed to be everywhere, very attentive and anticipating what we might need but with no intrusiveness. As friends and family left, my husband commented to me, ‘Now, I must find Stephanie’. A little cough came from behind him and there she was with a smile, in readiness to help wrap things up. Everyone was so good at doing their job like this.We had so many friends comment on how lovely the service was and the fact that our family in the UK could watch it by means of livestream was incredibly consoling. I think my mum would have been both pleased and proud.All of the above was enabled by a team of lovely people. Thank you so much.
