Two star rating is for the beautiful crystals sold at this store. Was genuinely interested in purchasing a number of lovely crystals and jewelry.Customer service rating is 0/5. Was reprimanded upon entry to store not to touch the crystal towers, and then rudely told to hurry up" as the lady working 'had not eaten all day' Felt rushed

Good selection but the girl on cash (who never looked up from her book she was reading, except to give my niece dirty looks because she had hiccups??) today was very rude, made my niece and I uncomfortable enough to put our stuff back and leave. I always stop and shop here when visiting, but after today maybe not. A little lesson in customer service may be a good idea for this store, considering I've read similar reviews.

I haven't been to the NOTL location, but I bought some stones at the Seaway Mall kiosk in Welland, and they have a fantastic selection of beautiful minerals, semi-precious stones other unique items there.

An amazing selection for EVERYONE!!I'm not educated on any of this at all but the owner Stuart is so kind and patient when it comes to explaining and answering questions. He made me feel so welcome and he had a great sense of humor! Their seasonal Booth at Seaway Mall in Welland is fantastic as well! The one employee I dealt with–Trysha is so good at her job and she was also very patient with me! If I could go beyond a 5 ☆ review I would! The Shiny Company carries lots of beautiful things. Recommend visiting it on downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake.

I purchased this Angelica stone and a sterling silver necklace to go with it yesterday. The staff were kind and the store had a great selection.

Breaks my heart to give this place one star because I had previously had such great experiences with the kind gentleman who had worked here but this women’s energy…was something else. I tried to assume the best and thought she was new and that’s why she would answer “I don’t know” to everyone’s questions about the products but after reading some of the other reviews it seems she’s been here for awhile. I’ve worked at a crystal store before and I felt so bad for the customers who where just trying to acquire basic knowledge about what they wanted to purchase I debated jumping in and helping lol. When I went to check out she didn’t know the prices of anything and made me find them for her, which was fine but when I would tell her then she would question me, like maybe you should get up check for yourself then? If I knew she was this rude I wouldn’t have got anything but I was already at cash :/ A little kindness never hurt anyone, especially at a store that promotes wellness.

Customer service is amazing despite the other reviews. I always visit on the weekends and the lady who works those days, katina, is very kind! She's talkative, open and very welcoming. The shiny company at the pen centre is very expensive compared to this one and there is a much more wide variety of unique crystals at this store! I've started going to this one instead of the one at the pen centre because it's local, friendly staff, cheaper and overall just a great store! Just bought a bundle of crystals (12) today from there for $30 and was definitely worth it! I never feel rushed to purchase anything and katina makes it a very pleasant experience whenever I come in to the store.

Contrary to other reviews, when I walked into this store & was greeted by the person working at the counter, the lady was very nice & talkative. Even so, this place was way too misleading with their prices. Bought three crystals in the bins that said two dollars and my total came to eleven dollars?! I didn’t question it in the moment and would have gone back if I wasn’t under a time constraint that day. Don’t go if you want to get ripped off — visit crystal stores that actually charge you what they list on the shelves.
