Tim's Fish & Chips and Poutine

Moved to Prescott over Christmas and Tim's is without a doubt the best Fish 'n Chips I've ever had! Massive amount of fries :-) ... i've tried both the Cod and Haddock and both are tasty. The small town vibe and friendly staff is welcoming making the Tuesday Special my new weekly tradition.

Pretty good food. Mass amount of fries! I got the haddock, hubby got the cod. We had so many fries we shared with our son. Occasionally, they'll over cook the batter. But not usually

We went on a Sunday to take food home after leaving a brewery in Brockville that wasn't a good fit for our family with young kids. There was only one woman working, and though she was busy with the order ahead of us, she greeted us kindly. There isn't much space inside but the menu is large with lots of options. It wasn't long before we placed our order, and the fry cook got to work. She was focused on her work and speedy. While we waited for the deep fryers, two other people came in to place orders. We brought our food home and were amazed at the amount of fries! So bountiful! Everyone loved their meal, from fish and chips to a popcorn fish wrap, fish bites, and a hot dog. No complaints for us, except that maybe the fry cook should have another assistant on Sundays to ensure minimal wait time. My 6yr old couldn't stop singing her praises when we got home as he thought, she was the best fry cooker ever. That was a lot of work for one person

We got Tim’s Fish and Chips for lunch and it was fabulous! The popcorn fish was fresh and the poutine was incredible. Highly recommend for anyone craving fish and chips!!!

We just moved to the area, tried Tim’s for the first time, first of all I ordered 2 orders of 2 pieces haddock and fries, side of gravy and a large coleslaw. She only gave me 1 order of fish and chips that had been sitting on the side of the cooker getting cold while she felt with another issue. Then rang up the order without coleslaw or gravy, I asked where the other order of fish and chips got to and she looked at her docket and verified I had ordered Two orders. So cooked another order, in the mean time the first order is getting colder and soggy wrapped in paper. Rang up the second order, I asked about the coleslaw, checked her docket again, went to the back came back with a tiny styrofoam coffee cup with coleslaw, then couldn’t find a price for it didn’t know what to charge so just rang up $4.00. It was supposed to be a large enough for two people, but it wasn’t even a full cup we didn’t share much. 2nd order of fish is still in the fryer getting darker, dryer and over cooked. Fries are on the side getting cold. Then I asked about the gravy on the side, checked again but hadn’t written it down when I ordered it. She wasn’t busy so I’m not sure what was going on. The food overall was disappointing.

Wish they had evening open till 9 during the summer. Great Fish & Chips!

The Best Fish and Chips in Ontario and maybe in Canada ! Incredible. With the spicy Tartare ! Stop and Lunch !

The fresh cut fries were good, on par with downtown Ottawa truck fries. The haddock was excellent, not over-breaded, fleshy and delicious! It's a short drive to Centennial park for a picnic with river view.
