Reliable Fish and Chips
Lord knows how this place got this many 5 star ratings, maybe it's better dine-in? I've gotten delivery from here twice; both times my food was overcooked, and honestly not very good. The picture shows just how hot it was when they packaged it, it literally melted the container. Definitely not worth the price I paid, that's for sure. You'd honestly be better off going to any of the other fish & chip places nearby.

Very friendly service. Onion rings were nicely done. Fish was overcooked and a bit mushy. Tartar sauce tasted more like mayonnaise then anything else.

Reliable Fish and Chips
Omg this place is great! The fish is fresh and the fries are crispy with seasoning salt. The coleslaw is flavourful and has a great vinegar taste to it. I got the halibut, and it was tender and flakey, my date got the hadock, which we wish was a bit more tender. The fish batter was lite and airy, with a good amount of seasoning. 8.5/10 would recommend.This place keeps getting better, just visited it again and wow! So good

Highly recommend the fish and chips here. We ordered the halibut fish and poutine. The fish was tender, falls apart in your mouth and the batter was so crispy (even the next day when I packed it home). Poutine was good with lots of gravy but a bit salty.The server there (I assumed it was the owner) was so generous, we came in near last 30mins before they close, but he still welcomed us warmly and allowed us to have birthday cake and lit the candles for us :) he even played birthday songs in the background.

Loved every bite. The portion was good for two people but no doubt a fish lover could easily eat both portions of fish. Had a chance to speak to owner who was super friendly and took over the restaurant over a year ago.

A cute little spot! The staff are really friendly and helpful - especially as I'm someone who's indecisive and asks too many questions haha! The fish tasted fairly fresh, and the shrimp burger was tasty as well. The batter was good and the fries were great.

Reliable Fish and Chips
Passed by this place a few times and wanted to see if the fish and chips were truly reliable. I must say they’ve passed the test and this is now my go to place for fish and chips! Owner is also super friendly and hard working. Love supporting local restaurants like this one, I’ll definitely be returning!

Reliable Fish and Chips
This was a random pick for dinner tonight out with a friend. Wow, what a good choice we made to come here! Highly recommend coming here, the fish and fries are So good. Amazing cook on the fish, flavourful but not overdone and the fries are great. The Calamari was good but a little overfried in our case (can tell how dark it is in the pic) but I think would be really good. A+ would highly recommend to go here and I will be again!One thing that disappointed me was the use of disposable fork & knife in a packet (can be seen in the one photo background). Considering we were dining in it felt wasteful to use them and have more waste in the landfill.

not my favourite style of batter but chips were great! food was crispy and hot but it just wasn’t very good fish and chips. expensive for what it is. the front of house was very nice and kind. i didn’t love the use of plastic cutlery for dine-in service and they could definitely make the switch to reusable cutlery rather than plastic. overall it’s a good place for a quick bite.quick note too: the restaurant isn’t very accessible. there isn’t a railing for the stairs (only two steps but still big ones).

Reliable Fish and Chips
Went with my husband for a quick dinner date. The interior is nice, love the benches, maps, and articles with local history. It's a nice spot to go for a bite. The only things that could be improved are some music (even faint) and maybe some cushions or acoustic panels to soften the sound. A 2 person conversation felt too loud for the space.I ordered the halibut, it was delicious and moist. The batter was great! Fries, coleslaw and tartar sauce all delicious.My husband ordered the cod, he said it was good but a little dry and he much preferred the halibut. We would both go again but get halibut, or try the tacos.I saw an earlier review about cutlery, they've changed it to metal cutlery.
