I recently had the opportunity to visit Fishbone By The Lake restaurant last Saturday and would like to share my feedback. Overall, I would give the restaurant a rating of 3 stars. While the location and the breathtaking view from the patio were impressive, there were some areas that fell short of my expectations.Let's start with the positives—the restaurant's location is undeniably excellent. The view from the patio is simply breathtaking, creating a serene and picturesque ambiance that adds to the dining experience.However, I found the quality of the food to be average overall. In particular, I was disappointed with the pizza. It lacked flavor and was noticeably lacking in ingredients. It seemed as though the pizza had been prepared with only a minimal amount of toppings, resulting in a lackluster taste.Another aspect that left me disappointed was the limited beverage options. They had only two choices of juices available, and unfortunately, one of them was sold out during my visit. This lack of variety was quite frustrating, especially when one option was unavailable.While the place itself is aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained, I believe there is room for improvement in the kitchen. It would be beneficial for the restaurant to focus on enhancing the quality and taste of their dishes, including the pizza, and expanding their beverage selection to provide a more comprehensive and satisfying dining experience.In summary, Fishbone By The Lake has its strengths, particularly the incredible location and stunning view from the patio. However, there is a need for improvement in the kitchen, particularly in terms of food quality and variety of beverage options. I hope that the restaurant takes these aspects into consideration and works towards enhancing the overall dining experience for their patrons.Overall rating: 3 stars

Fishbone By The Lake
Amazing view with delicious food. We had the fresh bread and some brussel sprouts to start which was delicious. Cocktails also very good. Main course was shrimp linguini which was so tasty! Finished with fresh mousse and both flavors were so good. I do recommend.

Fishbone By The Lake
This restaurant is my favorite place every summer. In addition to the lake scenery, its dishes have always maintained good quality. I must order kale every time during the exam, and cod, pizza and seafood pasta are all my favorites. The waiters are very young but very enthusiastic, they need to make reservations in advance and they are usually very busy.

Excellent experience dining here. It is pricy. Don't get me wrong. But it's the price you pay for fine dining. And it's not much higher than the standard. The food quality is excellent. Service is excellent. Scenery is excellent. Only beef was the bees due to the delicious food but that's an outdoor patio issue. Definitely returning.

Randomly found this place and I am glad I did. It is a hidden gem. Great location and view. Quiet area. And the food was delicious. I enjoyed everything. It is a must try and I will be returning.

July 3rd 2023Incredible gem in the middle of nowhere over looking a beautiful lake. What a place to visit in the summer. Food was spectacular and taste was balanced and tasted so fresh. Wood burning Piazza oven goes nonstop and the crust is top notch. Tuna dish was bright, flavorful and just perfect. Grilled chicken was spiced just right with those creamy fingerling potatoes. Top that off with our waitress Sydney who was so enthusiastic and made our visit extra special.Showed up without a reservation and the GM, Theresa, was very nice and found us a spot that had lounge couches neatly tucked on the side with an unobstructed view of the lake. Ceasars were weak tasting, chourico bites, bread app and olives were delicious. The pineapple mouse was a nice light treat as well.Well went back again and what a view as well as a new menu. Love this place.

The good and the bad. Gorgeous location nicely done.For the ones that need to be seen. In the new Hip and Trendy place.TO MUCH SERVICE! Overwhelming wait staff, burned and overpriced food that lacks size and quality. Drinks are not what they are supposed to be and much too expensive.The washrooms do not reflect what the restaurant tries to accomplish.Overcompensating everything from the time the hostess takes you to the table until you get the bill.But for those who need it, and think that this makes you feel special, it's a great place.

The views from this restaurant is breathtaking. Situated along musselmans lake with shade. The restaurant is open seasonally only as there is only patio seating. Food is absolutely delicious - I recommend the seafood linguine, Brussels sprouts and the octopus. Service is great. I reserve on open table and the restaurant called to confirm the reservation which was a really nice gesture. Only comment I have is that I asked for a high chair on open table as well as over the telephone and this was not prepared when we arrived.
