We are very happy with the quality of the workmanship and professionalism that AM Roofing exhibited when they replaced our roof. In particular, Zach Smit, was good to deal with and very responsive with regards to our budget and schedule. Our roof was discarding shingles like candy out of a Pez dispenser during a heavy wind storm this winter and Zach personally went up on our roof later and installed some temporary tarps and wood framing. This got us to the spring time leak free. The work crews for all three jobs: new roof shingles, new insulation, and new eavestrough and eavestrough leaf barrier were friendly and efficient. The cleanup after each job was as thorough as can be expected. Zach even came over with a magnet to look for and retrieve the errant roof nail or plastic wrappers. They replaced 3 skylights that were over 20 years old and the new ones have already been tested to be leak free during the recent downpours. They noticed that some of the wood around the base of the skylights needed replacing. AM roofing notified us first and told us how much the reasonable extra cost would be before proceeding. We would gladly recommend AM roofing for anyone looking to have their roof replaced.

Outstanding process. After our roof inspection Cody gave us a very detailed layout of our options. It was precise, accurate without any hurdles. The installation took 2 days and the guys did a great job including cleaning around the house for old roof parts. 50 years warranty and we are very satisfied.Annan, Ontario.

owen sound location. called and booked a quote. the day of appointment (friday) the person providing quote calls and says he cant make it. will try for sunday or monday. week goes by. never see him. call office to rebook. finally comes. says how professional they are. quote was out to lunch. thousands over other quotes. joke of a business, ripping people off. go elsewhere. do not recommend.

We live at 160-4th Street West, Owen Sound. Our roof has steep slopes on many levels up to the third floor roof. We asked for a quote from the AM Group. The salesperson Larry was so thorough and friendly. We were so impressed with his professionalism. The price quoted was very fair, and we were happy to offer the work to the AM Group.A short three-weeks later, the crews were on our roof. They swarmed our roof with eight-persons the first day. They set up boards to protect the bushes and flowers. I was impressed how the crew worked continuously to clean the lawn of debris. The roofers were friendly, skilled and efficient.I cannot give A&M a recommendation high enough for how pleased we were with their work.Sincerely,Michael Clark

Do not hire this company. Especially the Owen Sound location. I had a representative show up at my property. A lengthy conversation between him and myself regarding the work they offer and work I'd like to have completed. He told me I could expect an estimate in a few days. 3 weeks later I email him....no response. 2 weeks later I called the office and inquired. Was told he would be in touch. Again....2 weeks later I reached out to the company secretary. Told her this was my last attempt. She assured me I would be hearing from him ( the guy whom came to my residence). Well.....STRIKE 3. 3 weeks later.....you guessed it! Crickets. Bye...Bye AM Roofing. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

There is no job too big or too small for this company! We are a non profit organization that needed just 3 windows replaced to meet public health requirements. They were a professional team from the moment we requested a quote until the end of day today when cleanup was completed. The windows are amazing - the service outstanding and we would not hesitate to refer AM Roofing to any friend or business!Thank you to the team! We are a happy customer!

I would not recommend this company to anyone. Do not sign a contract with them. I thought I looked it over carefully but apparently they checked off “reuse flashing” on the contract. This was never discussed with us and 3 paralegals did not notice it over the course of months until AM Roofing pointed it out. Two years after the roof was installed we had a leak in the roof which led to a bowing of the roof (OSB board, not plywood) in a roof that had never leaked before. When I called them to inform them of the leak they did not respond as quickly as I would have liked and when they did they were antagonistic, rude, aggressive and unhelpful. All they would do is a temporary fix by caulking around the area. Basically the message was it’s your problem. After having another roofer plus a home inspector look at our roof we learned that it was 100% not the chimney (that was their claim to wash their hands of it) and that the flashing was installed improperly, which led to the roof leaking, which led to our roof bowing as OSB board will swell when it gets wet. The inspector told us if the chimney was leaking he would see rust when he looked up from the fireplace and there was none. Interestingly, after the caulking was done, the roof appeared to stop leaking. We have been told that the caulking is no longer doing it’s job so we are now in the process of finding someone to redo the flashing and bring this nightmare to an end.Response to AM Roofing’s response:I am also disappointed that it came to this however in October/November 2021 I tried over and over again to deal with this matter privately. When it became obvious that I was getting nowhere I hired a paralegal to represent me. Had you been willing to come to a reasonable solution it would have remained private. There are absolutely no false accusations in my review. Your response contains misleading statements. After the recent (and only) offer to which you have alluded, I chose to end my legal pursuit as the time and money required to pursue it further was no longer worth the cost. Your company would have been well served to find a solution earlier.

We own a heritage house and are particular about any work performed on it. Due to the Victorian style, it also presented quite a challenge to re-do the roof. A friend recommended AM Group of Companies so we contacted them. Mike Salverda came and did a thorough inspection. We were impressed by his knowledge and quick grasp of what we needed, and by his innovative ideas to help reduce future maintenance work. The job was estimated and scheduled quickly and the team did a phenomenal job. One early glitch was resolved promptly and well. The team kept us informed all along the way, did a great job even in the heat, and also kept the area very clean. Many thanks to Rich, Adam, Dan, Drake, Daniel and James, as well as to Mike who worked up on the tower, and to Jack and Jake who worked on the flat roof, for their excellent craftsmanship, and to Gina in the office for her wonderful customer service. The job came in on time and on budget. Our new roof looks amazing, maintains the historical character of the home, and adds to the value of our home. We're so glad our friend recommended AM Group of Companies to us!
