Went in for the school admission for my kid. Was smooth and organized

I'm pretty sure this does not account for all the workers at the Centre, however the lady I was unfortunate enough to encounter at their call center can only be described as god awful". She insisted on redirecting me to "international students" extension (although her specialization "international languages" was under the same department) despite me telling her that the person was currently unavailable. I was going to ask which schools were accepting international students and she told me to look on a website that was never provided. The one thing I got out of that phone call was an overwhelming compulsion to vote in the next election concerning educational services."

Lack of teachers, very bad treatment of students, not changing the classes according to the students' request

Extremely helpful and friendly staff, were very patient with me when I need assistance! I recommend %100 !!! I have encountered my little brother, who has been going for 2 years now and is doing very well. My 2 daughters are going to be going for night school to up grade for collage. I recommend Dr. Bette Stephenson to everyone I talk too with pride.

I would like to give a BIG shout to this amzaing team, especally to Fincham, Ronda and Abbas at Settlement and Education team.My nephew is 9 years old and new comer to Canada. His parents submitted the school registration online in November 2022, however the child will be arrive Toronto in December 2022. We sent e-mails and voicemail to request reschedule, but we didn't get any reply. We understand that they do not accept Walk-In and by apppointment only. We went to this centre to enquire the registeration matters and explained why we came to the centre.We have Fincham, Ronda voluntary raise her hand to assist us the registration process and Abbas speaks our language to explain the details of the school support and resources.I am not encourage people to walk-in the centre, unless you have submitted your registration in advance, plus didn't get the response more than 2 months.

Mr B and Ms McKay are the people that changed my life. I thank them for all their support and time they gave to me to be better. I wish they were my highschool teachers

Reception is good and friendly when calls are answered, they guide you through every step you need to begin your education journey. Definitely helped with motivating me to start with education! I spoke to Pauline and she was absolutely amazing. I loved her support. However, the classes do not seem to be helpful to those who need more than just online resources and textbook work. I have spoken to multiple people who have gone to this school, and they have confirmed that the classes are in fact a lot more stressful for those who work full time, have children or just recently travelled to Canada and are looking to continue an education than expected. I have been told that teachers are not as supportive to those who need extra reassurance. My own teacher did not provide as much support, she would only show her hand on screen and notes written, when I asked for the textbook name, was told “There is no textbook” although the lesson based almost based entirely on textbook material, when I had asked for the handwritten notes, she never responded to the email and called out in front of the class “I do not upload my notes, everything is in the textbook and PowerPoints” which was very unfortunate considering there are many people who do not only learned based off of the textbook by itself, looking at notes written in class by the teacher can help a lot with remembering what was taught and the expectations from the teachers themselves on what they look for when a question is answered. My own experience was not the best unfortunately, and the classes were all online due to Covid, I really wished I was heard more by the staff. I could write more about this however, this can be a great experience to those who learn more from by the book material, and perhaps with other courses I would have an a different experience, I had taken Biology Science. Please look into what you expect from your teachers before taking a course, if you need more support, it’s best to look into other schools.
