Soleiman senior technician came by our house for a bi yearly inspection. His observations were extremely helpful and his systematic approach to the inspection was very good. Takes good maintenance for a company to keep marketing its products.

It took over 4 weeks to get a serviceman to check our unit. The repairman was very friendly and did the evaluation very well. He provided an estimate for the repair the same day. But the amount was so high I requested an estimate for a new AC unit. After waiting 2 weeks I contacted another company that gave me an estimate the same day and installed a new unit 3 days later. Sorry to say but even though they offer good service... It is only if you ever get the service. I am still waiting for them to call me back. Unfortunate.

Be careful, they don't stand behind their work. There team made a big mistake, which was only discoverable as it was a very slow leak. They then stick you with a bill to fix their mistakes. This is just awful.Be very careful.

We spent tens of thousands of dollars on a ground source heat pump that was supposed to last for a very long time. After 5 years had to make very very expensive repairs, possibly because the original installation was inadequate. Then had to pay $$$ for annual inspection that we were not originally told we needed. Now the unit is broken again and they will no longer service it. AVOID.

Klimfax did a complicated install of air-source heat pumps into a 1960s-era building at my workplace, and they did a great job. The install took longer than expected due to some unforseen complications, but the staff were professional and didn't cut corners---providing an excellent product at the end, and with no additional charges beyond the original quote.

When my unit was installed back in 2018 there was a few issues. After bringing this to their attention it appears that future installs now have appropriate guidance to how to maintain the unit without problem.I just wish that for a company that's been around for close to 50 years that this wasn't a recent improvement in there installation process, but it's nice to know it's been addressed.

Got a Carrier unit installed in July of 2018. September of 2021 we start having leaking issues, as well as ice build-up and the air just not being very cold.I was informed when I called to setup the appointment, that the cost of the call was 155$, but was charged 185$, and then an additional 212$ for 2 additional hours of work. 2 hours that turned out to be unnecessary.The technician informed me that we need to clean the inside of the wall unit as well as the unit outside every year, which we were not told about when the unit was installed; Only that the filter on top of the unit needed to be cleaned every month (which we do). So the initial installers did not inform us properly on how to maintain our unit. That would have negated the need for this service call.After the technician cleaned my unit, he tested the refrigerant. He noticed that the amount of refrigerant was low. After not finding a leak, he emptied the refrigerant, then refilled it.Or possibly didn't. It seemed like he barely knew what he was doing.I was charged additional fees for the test, removing the refrigerant, and the replacement refrigerant.No mention of additional fees for any of these steps.We can assume that the initial installers did not fill the unit properly as we had to set the machine to 17 degrees to cool the house from the beginning (only knowing now that should have not been the case).Aside from that, I was informed only once I got the bill that there is an additional fee of 26.50$ for each 15 additional minutes after the initial hour of the service call. The initial diagnosis of the problem and cleaning was done within the 1st hour. There was an additional 2 hours of useless testing, finding no leak.Having to pay over 600$ for what turned out to be a simple cleaning of the unit is outrageous. They refunded a portion of that bill after I contacted them about it, but the story continues.This was in September last year. Cut to this week and we start the machine up and its the same as before. No cold air, it barely cools when set to 18 or 17 degrees. There is constant ice build-up that we remove twice a day. I have tried contacting them multiple times in the last week but have not gotten a response.Edit - 2022-05-25 - Still no contact from them, even though you can see below they take this very seriously". I can clearly see how they feel about after sales issues.Edit - After going to the business and speaking with them

We signed for a 3 year maintenance residential contract. We discovered in year 3 that the humidifier was not functional. The wire had been cut!!! so it was not working. The first 2 years of report showed the humidifier working!! After multiple calls with client service, over a period of 4 months, we were finally told that the we probably cut the wire and their service was fine. No trust in this service. A big scam!
