Very disappointed with misleading info given out in Tracking and delivery info". Cover-Tech encourages purchaser to list damage on bill of lading and accept the shipment. Promising to replace any damaged parts at the shipping expense of the purchaser.I would advise any purchaser to refuse any shipment with damages. My daughter will now be buying from Shelter Logic."

Great quality product overall...we are very satisfied and would recommend the Cover-Tech single car garage. We faced a few challenges when erecting the unit but were easily overcome.1)The drawings supplied are great for people who are visual"

Product is about a 5 out of 10 for build quality ,I found lots of burn through on the weld.s were the tubes went together as a result you could not insert the tubes into the sockets without removing the weld on the inside first. The instructions and customer service 2-10The instructions leave a lot to your imagination. Nowhere does it tell you that you need to cut the holes in the sleeve that the tensioning tube runs through so you can use the ratchet straps to pull the tarp tight. We left the job for a couple more days just to get confirmation from Covertech before we did this. Seems to me they could have done this in house and stitched around the holes afterward to keep the slit from running. There response to this question was that the ratchet straps are not always in the same spot. However they are welded to the frame ( so what Moves ?).First time we got the wrong cover ! took a week to straighten that out. I bought from Covertech because I assumed they were all Canadian made. Box,s had a big made in China label GREAT! you know your in trouble when! I had Clyde's cell number because he wanted pic,s of the wrong cover they sent me, however when i sent him a text on A Saturday to clarify the Tie Down Situation NO RESPONSE great customer service ! especially after them screwing up the order the first time. It would have taken 5 minutes to clear up the problem . Thanks Clyde .

Cannot recommend their products. Frame is too weak to withstand typical Canadian winters. After 3 winters, with the structure that I have from them, it has issues with the frames bending on the door end of the structure. Damage has been caused by wind. With the shape of the structure snow does not stay on the top of the structure. In my opinion the gauge of the steel is not sufficient and the amount of ribs is insufficient. My neighbors inexpensive ShelterLogic structure, that is the same height and width, has held up in the same area for 5 years without an issue.Their claims that they have the strongest frames in the industry is false advertisement. There are other companies making similar products with thicker steel frames. It is unfortunate that they will not stand by their statements with a proper warranty on the frame.Oh well roughly 300 people viewed my structure this year alone, and can easily see the brand name on it. Until it fails completely it will stay up.

Bought a portable garage back in 2014 - it failed in about 2.5 years, got another replacement cover in October 2017 - it failed by August 2018. Trying to get a refund from these guys, but not willing to reply - still waiting for Jason Cox to provide a refund......Will not deal with this outfit again. I would stay away from Cover Tech. Not a happy customer and at this time not a repeat customer.Update - Nov 22, 2018 - if you read the owners reply it appears that he is going out of his way to offer me a discounted price - $100 off their list price doesn't even cover the shipping costs to me. It was never mentioned to me in any conversation that they had a known issue with this cover - yet chose to sell it to me anyways.... I have now paid twice for the same faulty tarp. Asked for a refund and obviously Jason doesn't think he should - what would you do ?

So far my experience has just been MEH. Shipping took longer than the initial timeframe that was given to me over the phone and required multiple follow ups from my end. When we finally received it, we were missing parts and given duplicate of another so we were unable to assemble it as originally planned. It has been a week since trying to rectify this situation and I still have not received any shipping info and don't know when the missing parts will actually arrive.Given the fact that we just had a massive storm last night and my car was damaged from hail, I'm a little angry thinking that if we had only been sent all of the correct parts to begin with that my car would have been protected from it and save me from now having to deal with repairs.Once I actually get the correct parts and assemble the structure, I'll update my review based on the actual product and if there's any change in the customer service aspect but for now...this experience has not been the greatest. Not a happy customer and quite disappointed.

Regret my purchase with this company. I know it is a do-it -yourself project, but it is supposed to arrive with all of the parts, correct sizes, and instructions to do-it-yourself! Not set up, wait, take down, set up, wait again. If you want a do-it-over and over project this is the one.I ordered a 20x30x12 shed. Took longer to arrive due to shipping/trucking issues which I understand. We knew we would hire at least 4 people to assist installing the huge tarp over the frame and attach doors and lower frame with the webbing, so wanted to do it all in a day or two with a crew and rented scaffolding.-Instructions are extremely vague and not recommended or to be counted on.-You-tube had one video by a fellow that had complained to the company and they asked him to post a video...-The tarp sent with the shed was the wrong size - 5 feet too long so the front and back door panels could not be installed.-Webbing could not be installed to attach the side walls to the lower frame so shed sat unfinished until issues could be resolved with Covertech and the crew left.-Solutions in the letter pasted below seemed reasonable, and we needed the shed this summer. Additional pipe looked like the quickest solution as they weren't sure about the fabric availability.-No matter which solution we chose, we would have to rent scaffolding, pay people to come back to either take off/reinstall the correct huge tarp or install the additional pipes in the centre of the tent shed (as it cannot just be added to one end) remove a large section of the tarp again as the extension is done in the middle. Additional 300.00-Extend the flooring and excavate again which was professionally done to fit the original shed we ordered. Additional 940.00-Covertech took weeks to 'fabricate' the additional frame parts required and get it out to us.-Extention pipe order came and when installing discovered the shipment is short one of the bracing bars at the very top of the shed. The order matches the invoice, so it is another Covertech error.-We rented scaffolding to pull the tarp back and put the addition into the middle of the shed. $$$$ and will now have to return scaffolding and rent it again to put up the bracing bar when it arrives to finish this very long and disappointing project. What we were asking them for was a solution to the oversized tarp they sent in error for shed, and 1,000.00 discount on our shed price for the incredible inconvenience and expense - time, money and manpower to make up for their mistakes. We hired skilled people to do a job that can't possibly be done without the correct parts.EMAIL FROM COVERTECH (All spelling mistakes are from the sender)I'd like to apoligize for the error in the cover. We can offer 3 possible solutions to fix the situation:1. We can send additional pipe or frame pieces to make up for the shortness of the cover. Essentially creating a 20’ x 35’ x 12’ garage. There would be at no charge for the pipe or shipping for the additional length.2. We can make a new cover and ship it to you from stock, this may take a little longer as the white is running low and we may not have enough to complete before our next shipment arrives.3. We can get the cover you have currently returned to us, cut it to appropriate length and return to you. We are assured to have the material to make the addjustments in this case. We can offer a $100 refund from the purchase on this option to offset some of the inconvenience.Again we apoligize for the inconvenience this has caused. Installation is usually considered a do-it yourself project. Any costs or charges for installation by a contractor or outside source is not the responsibility of Cover-Tech Inc.Regards,Clyde

Ordered the XL cover for my heat pump and checked out a portable garage. Both well made and practical for Canadian winter conditions.

Wished never paid $5000. 00. Worst instructions ever to put up. Webbing that holds tent onto poles has torn in multiple places. Rods that are screwed to main dome arms have loosened in one winter in which one came totally free and tore through back wall of material . Have anchored to ground and dome moved so much even after wll braced it dented rain gutter on our brand new rv first winter. Door doesn't roll up straight when using rod to open it. Always rolls up crooked and rv almost hits everytime when pulling in and out . Material hasn't held up to our winter here in Nova Scotia like we ever expected. Total waste of money on a product we thought we would get good use of for way more than 2 years. Very frustrated and upset on the expense we paid. Wished I just had a pole barn built then wasting my time on this product. Never again !!!
