The Spa at Semiahmoo

The check out time is 11am despite check in being 4pm. What other resort steals 5hours from you? Also we never received room service during our stay, the restaurant bait and switched our meals, and the front desk staff are kids with no hospitality; I had to badger them to honor an ammenity coupon they'd emailed me.

Beautiful venue and has friendly staff. I bought my sister and me a massage. We went on a Saturday. The steam room was closed, unfortunately. We did enjoy the outdoor pool / hot tub though and the locker rooms were clean. We also utilized the sauna! The only qualms I had was with my massage experience. The woman who did my message was unprepared and spent more time gathering supplies throughout than focusing on the massage. I also asked for lip polish and she responded that she would have to go back to the back room for that and if I just wanted the kit to bring home and do it myself when I get home...SHE REFUSED TO THE REQUESTED SERVICE...It was evident she wasn't going to the service because she had to gather the supplies. Mind you all, when you're waiting they hand you a clipboard and you circle what you want. It was known that I selected that service. It felt like I was a burden for her. .. made me very uncomfortable. Her behavior was a roundabout way of saying she forgot but doesn't want to retrieve the supplies. The venue was nice, masseuse needs to work on her customer service.

Semiahmoo is a 3 star resort and the spa is a 3 star spa. The decor is so dated it's kinda a downer but it's also quintessential PNW, so probably no surprise.

Clean establishment and always nice to use the facilities before your treatments! A nice relaxation room to wait in with tea and snacks. Could use a bit of updating in the change room, showers etc, but overall a great place to go and relax.

Had the basic service. Rachel did a great job, asked lots of questions about my preferences and accommodated accordingly. Next time I go will have to grab more add-ons.

This is far and above the best Spa and resort we have ever been to. Everyone's totally dedicated to your stay being a first priority. I really love this place

Got two massages here and they were both great! Scheduled when I arrived and there were only two slots open on Monday. Wish I took advantage of the fitness classes. Shout out to Giovanni and Andrea!

The Spa at Semiahoo seems like an afterthought. The treatment room had a loud little space heater and I could hear the people in the next treatment room talking through the thin walls. The locker room is shared with the hotel pool, so you're right there with the people showering off the chlorine and clipping their toenails. The massage was fine, but the setup lacks care.

The hot tub is huge! The pool was nice and warm even for the winter. The spa staff was very friendly.

I called to schedule two massages, one of which was for myself. I'm a day away from being 13 weeks and their website specifies Mother to Be" treatment is recommended for 13 weeks on.Well
