Theres a difference between making a profit and just ripping people off. It is upsetting when you spend over $7 on a mere handful of fries that cost under 50 cents.

Great spot if you're looking for ice cream. They do sell hot food but it's all reheated cheap frozen food. Really not worth it. It's quite a nice spot visually and if they put more effort into the food, as well as upgrading the vibe (especially the music), it would be a hell of a spot. Hundreds of people pass by every day and only a few stop for ice cream.

Went here the other day only because the one we wanted to go to wasn't open till 12. I was really impressed! The burgers loaded were AAAmazing!!! Definitely not a frozen patty! Really good! The poutine was also amazing. Gravy tasted really good. Also got the chowder. It wasn't a thick chowder but again really good. Would definitely go again.

Bravo chefs for great chowder for smallKitchen. Broth was nicely flavoured and great portion of scallops, and other seafood. We’re on a hunt for best island chowder. This was close to top of list so far.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our ice-creams. I had a chocolate-vanilla swirl on a cone, my partner and her sister had vanilla dipped in chocolate, and our daughter had a kids size vanilla in a bowl. Then she cried because we all had cones, one of the staff heard the drama and brought us a cone and the crisis was resolved. Very kind gesture.

This was our first time eating here and won’t be our last…I had the saucy burger…bbq on the side…delish! I usually prefer a smash patty because I hate dry burgers but this was so not dry…hubby really enjoyed the spicy chicken burger and said it’s a “do again”… not too spicy at all…neither of us usually enjoy home cut fries but these were crispy! Lovely, friendly service!
