I’m so disappointed of how I was treated at this place by a racist attitude of Marina one of the staff . I’m hard in hearing and weak eye vision . I immigrated to Canada years ago and never got a chance to learn English academically as a single father . I know how to fill out basic forms. asking about common diseases . As I regularly do check up I know I’m clean with no diseases.Marina treated me so badly after I could not hear what she was asking .she was wearing mask and it made it even harder to hear. She turned her laptop towards me to read and answer questions but I could not see the words through the glass. Since I have accent and she realized I’m immigrant she rudely closed the laptop with anger and told me go learn English first then come to donated blood .I was in shock with what she said since I’ve never have encountered such a direct and reckless behaviour in Canada .I’m a grown up , 50 years old man and her behaviour has changed my mood and since yesterday.

For the second time, I donated blood here!The workflow is smooth, the staff are so friendly and professional, and the whole environment is peaceful and positive! They even played the song I think I wanna marry you" in a soft voice! :)Definitely recommended!"

The facility has been relocated to a new space in Hillcrest Mall near Goodlife Fitness. The access is only from outside the mall (back of the mall). No access from within the mall. The place is very clean have courteous staff. The process is bit slow, although it's not crowded by donors. 45min on average for the donation process (if there are only a couple of people ahead you). There are only a few nursing staff to collect blood. That's why even though collecting benches are available, donor are still waiting for the nurse/technical staff to attend them to draw blood.

Today I had appointment at morning for blood donation and because of my own mistake which didn’t have breakfast I fainted at the end of the procedure. I sweated a lot and I wasn’t able to breathe properly….I just wanted to say thank you and give a big hug to the lady with black suit which unfortunately I don’t know her name. She took care of me for 20 minutes and she stayed with me kindly and helped me to get better and when I left the centre she watched me from behind the window to see if I am reaching to my car safely.She also visited me at first and let me know that it’s not good to donate without having enough food and water. But I said I am used to it. I did huge mistake.Thank you lady and god bless you.

Went there three time more, twice arrived home discover arm still bleeding. A few suggestions is you can not shorten the pressing time and other steps when it is busy, and if you didn't put the pressure bandage tie enough, then it wouldn't work but just a decoration.When you skipped things, things might just go wrong one day and make a mess. And if you make donor feel it didn't went well, people might just not do it anymore.Personally i am fine, but just discover that even on the app, there is nothing about what if it is in pain, what if it has something wrong.

I've been donating my blood since 2003 but first time donating my blood here at Richmond Hill location. My appointment was at 7:30p.m., arrived around 7:15p.m., and had to wait outside of the clinic for around 10 minutes to get inside due to social distancing. The lady placed a thermometer tip under my tongue followed by giving me a new medical mask to put it on. In total, I had to wait another 30 minutes to wait for my turn to finally donate my blood even though I've already filled out my questionnaire prior to my appointment. The nurse and manager were both very friendly, keeping me company, definitely both helped me to calm my nerves. I never liked getting shots so it's very important for people around me to relax me in the blood donation room. I've already booked my next appointment in March at Richmond Hill and looking forward to it. Highly recommended this place and thank you for your service. Please be safe

I have been coming to donate at this location several times and never been disappointed. The staff are friendly and they ensure your appointment goes smooth from check-in to post-donation care.

First time donating during my recent visit. After reading the mixed reviews before hand I was a little hesitant going but figured every place will always have some negative experiences. Mine was great! All the staff members were warm & friendly and ensured I was feeling ok during the process.If you plan on donating, do not come on a weekend if possible as that is when the extended wait times will be, since everyone is off work. If you must go on a Saturday, as soon as they open would be best.Will definitely come back to this location in the future and hope those experiences will be just as pleasant.

I've been donating blood for a long time at different locations. This CBS location was really great. Staff were kind, efficient, and knowledgable. My total appointment time was around 40mins because I had to wait a little bit. I've been reading some negative reviews and think people need to be a bit more compassionate. Staff here don't have an easy job but a super important one. Sometimes your wait may be longer than expected, but this isn't a restaurant or a bar. Be glad that clinics like this exist in the event that you or your loved ones need blood in the future.
