Kumon Math and Reading Centre of Oakville - Pilgrims Way and Abbeywood

I believe all similar programs are beneficial to children as they all focus on children’s success. I think it’s up to us as parents to find a right fit for our own child.My child has been taking Kumon Math for 5 years and Reading for 4 years. We have originally sent her to Kumon because she wasn’t understanding simple calculation. She is now in grade 5, and taking high school level math. As some people know, Kumon math is not a replacement of school math. It’s more like an additional.The program is also helping my child to develop self-study, problem solving and time management skills. It involves parent’s effort to encourage children as there are homework everyday, but you can consult with an instructor to adjust amount of homework. Kumon-Glen Abbey centre’s instructor is very flexible and willing to make the program fit for each student.First few years were challenging for my child to continue, but now she sees the benefit of the program, and she is even dreaming of becoming an assistant at Kumon so she can help other children be successful!

I am a Kumon student at the Glen Abbey Kumon Centre for 8 years and I am very satisfied with my experience so far. Within my 8 years at the centre, I was able to complete the entire reading program and I am currently on the last level for the math program (which is level O). The staff at the centre is nothing but exceptional. Even the centre gave me the opportunity to work as a part-time grader. I would recommend this centre to anyone who wants to do the Kumon program.

Based on the feedback from my daughter’s school teacher with regards to her reading and math skills, I would highly recommend this learning Center. Instructors are helpful and always accommodate schedule as per my requirements. This is my daughter's 3rd year joining Kumon and I can see the difference.

Kumon is a great system, it works, but paired with a location that is so well managed is a recipe for success. I highly recommend Anandita and all the staff at Kumon Glen Abbey.

The class / place is very clean, the washroom is also very clean. The work is actually very nice for practice, the way you learn might be hard for some kids but it definitely helps you do math problems faster. I've been going to Kumon since kindergarden (before i quit), the teachers are very nice and are very understanding. I dont know much about the english classes, but I believe that its pretty good and pretty educational. Also Its very nice how you can choose how many books you have for homework a day, I would recommend sending your kids there.

It has been more than two years I had decided to enroll my daughter with kumon.Initially I was not sure If I wanted to keep her but the reports I received from her teacher encouraged me to do so.I can clearly see the improvement in her math and english skills.Not to mention flexible schedule is another advantage parents can have when choose kumon..

Kumon is a wonderful learning hands on experience for my kids. Ms. Anandita has mentored my children for many years now and she understands the importance teaching at a pace for my children to master the skills and gain confidence while learning. She also spends time with parents to discuss how their kids are doing and what they can do to improve.The way Ms. Anandita is handling the Zoom meetings in these unprecedented times is exceptional.I would give this centre 5/5 stars. Would highly recommend this location for your child to build confidence in Math and English to complement what they are doing in school.

We have been at this Kumon for almost 6 years, has changed my daughter's whole learning experience thru school as she is more confident and is able to help others as well, she has a very kind and understanding teacher who has helped my her thrive.

Great centre!!. My kids(3) are very happy to be this place. Even though We moved to a new area two years ago We still come to this place b/c my kids show us a huge improvement. Teachers are engaging lively and very energetic .Ananditha is very patient . She always encourage both kids and parents. If you are looking for a Kumon centre in this area I highly recommend this place.

My son Jonathan Singh is a student of this centre for the past eight (8) years. To date he has been able to complete the Reading program and is currently on the final level of the Math program. This centre has a remarkable group of individuals on staff including the owner Ms.Bajaj who wants to see your child progress from one level to the next. I have always found her to be very polite and knowledgeable. I have no hesitation in recommending this centre for your child's Reading and Math program needs.
