Great breakfast place but incredibly busy. Expect a 15 min wait if you arrive passed 10:30 to 11. Coffee is okay but portions are great. Excellent service!

Super disappointed in my recent visit to sunset grill but only because of the food, the staff and service was excellent. The food however, was cold- tasted like it was microwaved. It was dull, portion was okay, it just didn't taste fresh nor good. The bacon even tasted microwaved. I was shocked because I know the kitchen is right there, open concept, but the taste did not represent freshly made food. The salmon plate was shocking. It was 2-3 slices of grey old looking smoked salmon, that came with 3 packaged cream cheese. Barely toasted bagel just sits there in a plate on the side and you build it. It just looks awful and the presentation made me not want to eat it. I just don't understand how a restaurant with this type of location and constant customers has this level of quality? Unfortunate. Again, really sweet staff and bottomless coffee so that was a plus. Do better!

We visited the location in TOR three years ago and my daughter has raved that it was the best French Toast she's ever had. We were thrilled to find a location in Ottawa. We had breakfast there one day and lunch the next! Love the staff, super friendly and the food is amazing!

We had the blueberry pancakes and the Southwest Vegan Hash. Pancake was ok, though the vegan hash was oily and without much taste or spice which I didn’t really like. It was filling however. You get free refills of the brewed coffee as well. They have maybe 2-3 vegan option and more vegetarian options which is nice. It has a nice vibe and service is pretty good, too.

First time experience here. I was craving a hearty breakfast in the middle of the day. We were at Landsdown and saw it was busy so thought why not. I was craving a hearty breakfast, and that was not what I got. I thought for the time we waited the food would be better. The potatoes were half cooked, I loved that they were skin on, but they could be crispy or even cooked more. The hollandaise somehow had no flavour, and the meat in the poutine was so tiny and sadly portioned you couldn't even taste it. All around bland food, kinda tasted like food you'd get in a hospital. It was edible but just sad and not what I look forward to in a breakfast place. The food too such a long time to come out and they kept refilling our cups with Luke warm tap water when they had ice the first refill. Just weird, sad food.

Okay so this was simply NOT GOOD!Potatoes are so flavourless and undoneThe Mediterranean omelette was absolutely over done and blandTheir crab cake Benedict had too strong a taste!We couldn’t finish even 1/3 of our meals.50$ for 2Too much over rated place !Not recommended at all !

Aweful Manager was arguing with me regarding my meal that was unsatisfactory. I returned it and second time found a hair and eggs were cold and rubbery. He said he can only take the coffees off for that and accused me that the hair was mine and i are half of the order. In which i have because it cold and gross. On mothers day! too! Not impressed and he was so disrespectful. He ruined my day. Good note the Waiter was awesome and patient. A great waiter to have. Shame on you Dean Stresman.

Lovely location. It is located right by the TD centre. The staff are friendly, efficient, personable and kind. The food came freshly made and piping hot! No sitting at the pass becoming lukewarm. Very family oriented, simple yet delicious menu. Come early for breakfast because this restaurant becomes quite busy with lineups around the block, especially on the weekend. Excellent vegetarian and vegan options. Egg white substitution not an issue here! Extensive side order menu with much flexibility. #localguide

Service for take out was poor- the food came after 25 minutes and had to wait another additional 5 minutes for our watered down coffees. The iced coffee came from an open topped pitcher in their fridge. My partners wrap eventually came with spoiled spinach and they couldn't eat more than a bite.
