I was really lucky to discover 2 The Core during my first pregnancy. Not only were the workouts pre and post-natal key to contributing to a very healthy pregnancy and easy birth, but I got hooked into a whole community of related services (doula, massage therapist, pelvic floor physio) that were also very important for my pre and post-natal health. I had a place where I could go and ask questions about pregnancy and birth, where before I had been isolated. The flexibility offered by the studio with scheduling was also key. Christina is just a fantastic trainer and so passionate about her business and helping her clients.

I began working with Christina at 5 weeks postpartum, after our first consultation I was excited to begin exercising again. She was able to guide me into exercise again safely, and 11 weeks later I feel like I have made sooo much progress with her guidance. Not only have I enjoyed attending her workouts with my baby in a safe environment, my husband and I have also opted for couples training and we both enjoy attending these classes and can share our progress. Christina is incredibly knowledgeable in her field, supportive, and individualizes each class to the needs of each client! I am so happy I have joined 2 the core training!

Christina is extremely knowledgeable. She supported me to safely and effectively start working out again after having my first son. Having had complications during labor, it was very important to me to ensure I was reentering physical activity in a safe way. She ensured I felt comfortable and confident doing this and knew exactly what I could and couldn't/shouldn't do after completing the one-one assessment. I am so grateful to have found her!

Christina is amazing! She creates such a comfortable space, she takes the time to go through all the details and is super understanding of caring for little ones during the session. The studio is clean and has a wonderful kids area! Looking forward to my next session! 10/10 would recommend to anyone postpartum!

I started training with Christina because of degenerative arthritis in my lower back causing my to experience mild pain pretty much all the time. I am happy to say it was the right decision. With in a month of going once a week, my discomfort as almost all gone away with the strengthening exercises we do in the classes. Christina does a great job at adjusting the exercise to suit my specific situation and I am surprised at how much of a difference this is making in my daily comfort.

My sister and I went for 1:1 training with Christina. I've been training with Christina since 2018 and highly recommend her. She's knowledgeable, supportive, and encouraging. I've found the targeted exercises particularly helpful for postpartum pain relief and strengthening. New location down at YYC Village is lovely. It's great to have a space that welcomes kids. Childcare is provided and the kids are in a fun space with a 4ft dividing wall so that is easy to check on them if needed. The new YYC Village location allows for access to other services, which is very handy. Definitely looking forward to visiting again.

2TheCore Training is an excellent postpartum gym! Before signing up for the small group sessions, I hadn't done any weight training. Christina gave me a detailed one-on-one assessment and showed me how to do the group exercises. I have now been attending the small group sessions weekly for 5 months and have been enjoying it. I'm surprised and happy with the muscle and strength I have gained! 2TheCore has been an excellent addition to my weekly fitness routine and I would recommend it to everyone! Give it a try!

I began working out with Christina almost two months ago and I am so grateful I found a trainer who makes me feel comfortable working out again post baby. Her gym is amazing for new moms who want to have safe and proper postpartum workouts. The fact I can bring my baby and see her while I workout is fantastic and comforting. I highly recommend Christina!

I came to Christina at 2 The Core after being diagnosed with some post-birth issues. I started off with 1-on-1 sessions and they were great because my situation really required her full attention. Within a month or so, I was already seeing positive changes! This is my third month there and I am still determined to keep going there to fully rehabilitate my body. Christina doesn't make you feel guilty if you miss a workout at home and is very encouraging. I am now doing group sessions but even some exercises are customized for me, as some may not be so suitable for me to do. I strongly encourage those of you who have core or other issues to seek Christina's expertise.

Christina’s place is amazing for workout! I’d highly recommend! It’s very female and family friendly.She got lots different exercise and equipment to rotate through. I never get bored. She’s also very experienced and patient. She knows exactly what type of exercise to target every one’s problem. I had posture issue and lower back pain and knee pain before coming to her. Now my posture improved a lot and I was able to do more workout and be active with my existing conditions.
