Received a mantle clock from my mother after she passed away. It had not worked for over 30 years. Ken got it ticking again! He did a fantastic job. He even delivered it to our home and set it up to make sure it was working perfectly!! Great guy, super honest, and didn't charge us an arm and a leg!! Highly recommend!!

Had come over yesterday to service my grandfather clock that stopped working ! He was here at the time he said ! Ken is a great friendly guy with a great personality ! He diligently worked on the clock and informed me on everything he was doing and everything I should know about the clock ! One thing for sure is that Ken certainly knows his craft ! I have a vintage Omega Seamaster DeVille watch that my father gave me back in the 1960's so it's very special to me. The watch was giving me problems loosing time excessively and the hands seemed very loose and when I pushed the crown in the minute hand would jump about a minute. I took the watch to a couple of watch repair shops and a jewelry store and they all told me your watch probably needs an overhaul. I contacted MTE for the first time and spoke with Ken and he told me he could have a look at it. As soon as I met Ken he was friendly and listened to my issue. He drew a sketch and explained that there is a pinion gear that if he is able to spin with tweezers then the watch has lost the friction needed to run properly. I left the watch with him on Thursday afternoon and he called me Friday evening and told me the friction issue was fixed, the watch is running fine. The movement is clean but it was dry so while I had it open I lubricated the jewels, so there is no need of an overhaul. He said it's running now, I've got it on the watch winder so I'll keep monitoring it, you can pick it up tomorrow Saturday if you want. He had my watch less than 48 hrs. and I have to say Ken is amazing, he is honest and trustworthy and is an absolute genius in my opinion. From this point on MTE is my go to source for watch and clock repairs and since I am a watch collector MTE is for me. Ken fixed my mom's vintage watch for Christmas, he replaced the battery, added an extender, and ordered a brand new custom cut crystal facing. It turned out beautiful. The cost was reasonable and I got it finished in a timely manner, although the timing was during the holiday season.

Ken was able to fix our grandfathers clock in our home within days of our call. He arrived on time, had already diagnosed the problem from our phone call, had the clock serviced & repaired within record time. Extremely knowledgeable, pleasant, and talented. He even looked at another clock that had not worked in years & had it functioning in minutes!!! Highly recommend!!!

Ken is great to work with. I took my grandfather's Elgin to him after I messed up a repair and he was able to get it back together.

Very professional, i needed a battery for my movado watch and originally took it to zales but they wanted $21 and to ship it to california to replace the battery which would have been a 3-6 week wait but MTE was able to replace the battery in a matter of minutes and the cost was more than half of what zales would have charged me. I will be bringing all my watch and clock repair needs to MTE. Thanks for a great experience and service.
