Been here two years driving truck and quad and it’s good. HR dept is amazing and there’s plenty of work.. winter gets slower but that’s the business. Equipment is very well maintained and the Pay is up to standards but the people are the best part of the company. Great place to work..

This is a great business. Very professional and no job is too big or too small. Amazing fleet always clean and on time.

As a class 1 driver I would NOT suggest you even apply.I was hired as a full time driver, I never saw a paycheck over 32 hours a week. The drivers and company don't have a union contract, but they base their seniority for empoyees on some fabled union drivers tale. This only took place in the real Teamsters in the United States.Kls wants class one drivers to work for yearly wages I worked for in 2012.They want to make the same profits regardless of it affects your wages.Your choice of course, many drivers face the impossible task of trying to find a professional wage in a country that thinks we aren't professionalsIf your looking to haul aggregates I would totally bypass this company.

One of their trucks kicked up a rock and damaged my windshield. They haven't responded to my emails. The truck was filthy so i consider it their fault. I wish I could leave 0 stars!!!

KLS is a great place to work! The ownership was always fair, supportive, and focused on growing employees from within. As a young guy, with limited work experience, it was invaluable to have the opportunity to work around heavy equipment on a variety of different construction sites. I started as a laborer in April, and by August I had learned how to check grade, read site drawings, and run some equipment.

My first interview went well. Nice equipment. Truck push was pleasant. I'd be happy here.Update, I've been working here for over a year now. Love the job. The people here are great! Equipment is very well cared for. You right up a problem and it's fixed the next day. And as a quad puller it's very important to me that there is release oil available at all times. And it is always there for me! People here treat you with respect and they listen to you if you have something to say. If you are looking for a job, and love to work with good people come on over!

The HR for this company should truly be ashamed of them selves. My family moved 6 hours away from home because of this company to after 1 month have my husband laid off. They were more then aware that we moved down because of them and bought a house. They hired my husband with promises of none stop work throughout winter and bragged about how this season they have so much work to be done... 30 days later they sent out lay off slips... What a terrible company! For many years my family has worked in construction and we have seen the ups and downs, but this was truly evil. How on earth can you tell a family to move and buy your house if you knew your company was going to lay off people in the winter.Absolute disgust is all I have towards these people and this company. I will be sure to mention this to all of the heavy equipment operators we know. Don't waste you time with this outfit.
