You killing us with these interests rates. We are working so freaking hard and soon we won't be able to put food on our table. You need to chase the big grocery stores for hiking the food price. The gas cheaper now they should lower their prices. With you raising the interests rates so fast will make the leaving unaffordable!

Unelected officials making decisions for everyday Canadians. This is democracy at its finest. I guess when your making over $400k a year, making your mortgage payment(s) is a breeze.

Bank of Canada is a private institution so unfortunately the government has no say on raising interest rates. Government needs to stop spending/giving money to other countries to help Canadians battle debt by lowering costs of goods and services. Even people with good jobs are feeling the pinch. The grocery rebate or whatever you want to call it (which I didn't get) is a slap in the face considering how much grocery store chains have made in profits.

Mortgage interest rate increase is giving too much stress to middle class people especially who are hand to mouth, how do we manage increase in mortgage payments. It will result in depression for people like me . I don’t understand what to do to pay my increased mortgage.

Maklem works here. He's incompetent. He gave guidance" to Canadian saying that they would not raise rates until 2023. He then proceeded to raise rates 17-fold to 4.25%. I am not sure how someone who is so incompetent and with such far reaching impact can still have their job."

The Bank of Canada and Government of Canada are actively working against each other. The Govt is bringing in 1 million migrants per year, putting too much pressure on and killing our housing market, while the BoC skyrockets interest rates to combat this, making living unaffordable. DYSFUNCTIONAL BANK, DYSFUNCTIONAL GOVERNMENT! VOTE CONSERVATIVE!

Incompetent leaders" raising interest rates causing stagflation. The BoC is ruining the middle class and making Canada unaffordable unless you're a corporation or not from here."

I tried their food at the cafeteria. I think the cafeteria provides a great healthy selection of food and the quality is decent. I particularly like the chicken masala. However, someone did mention to me he thinks the salad is a bit too salty. Initially I would give the food 3.5/5 alone but I'd personally hike another 15000 basis points to make it 5/5 for certain inexplicable reason.

Please think of middle class people and low economical class people and high tax payers. Please stop further hikes. It is becoming to much for us. We are left with no spending power at this stage. Federal government should take some strong action to control the hike. I believe due to immigration Bank of Canada will see Growth in Economy which is normal as immigrants bring money from their home county which is not real growth in economy. Bank of Canada should look at the growth of middle class and low economical class people. These groups are left with no spending power. May god bless everyone of us with health, wealth and peace
