Great advice pre-purchase. Very helpful instruction after purchase. Because of the seasonal nature of their products, they are quick to give refresher pointers to get me up the speed after the six months that the machine(s) have been “dormant”. Whether regarding snow blowers or summer yard maintenance, the staff cheerfully take care of my inquiries.

I purchased a lawnmower last year at Canadian tire and the man there didn't explain anything to me. I left the store remembering that my neighbor recommended Hobden's which was just down the street! I stopped in at Hobden's and the girl there took the time to talk to me about what the differences were between each unit and what one would better suit my needs. I highly recommend this store, they really care about the customers needs!

Good service, great products. I just bought a new lawn mower for $120 less than they wanted at the orange big box store. They even loaded it in my car for me, and it was in ready to mow" condition

I've owned Stihl chain saws for many years starting with the WOOD BOSS. About a year ago I had a problem with my right wrist which kept me from being able to use my right hand to start my saw. The compression on the 290 was too great for me to be able to start it with my left hand. Although the saw is great I can't start it. On talking with Bob he showed me the 261 saw with a compression release button which makes pulling it to start very easy. I think it is even easier than the easy 2 start" on the 180 saw that I have. Bob filled it with gas and oil and let me try starting it before I bought it and it was great. I've been using it for the last 3 days and it starts great every time. Wish I'd bought it a year ago. I have been dealing with Hobden's for more than 20 years and can honestly say that I have never had any complaints whatsoever. Whether it is their service department, sales department or parts department they have always made me feel welcome. I can't thank Robert, Diane and staff enough for helping me make an informed decision with my most recent awesome purchase.

I purchased a mower from Hobdens back in '06, and have since purchased a few more and some Stihl items. I trust their service work, and turnaround times are very good. Second time that I have had a lawnmower repaired by Holden's Small Engine Repair. I appreciated the fast service. The front desk staff were very courteous as was the repair man who called me with the repair estimate. Will definitely return should I need such service.

My husband and our neighbor recently purchased a snow blower to share. They were very impressed with the knowledgeable staff and excellent service they received. They were very glad they went to Hobden's rather than a big box store!
