The food is absolutely magnificent. Chicken pakora's were SO good! I finished them, and immediately wanted more, the sauces that come with the appetizers are amazing, there is a tamarind and mint sauce which is made fresh and we all loved it. The Chicken Tikka Masala and garlic naans were delicious, naans were soft and a perfect size for my sister and I. The tikka masala, sooooo flavorful and heavnly, given in awesome portions. Everyone was super nice, owner is very friendly and the cute little restaurant itself was neat and comforting. The service was 10/10 and my sister and I will definitely be back for more because this was the greatest experience I have had at a restaurant. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for fresh and delicious indian food, 10/10 food, 10/10 atmosphere, and 10/10 service

Has to be the best Indian Food in the Barrie area. Had three different dishes tonight all with their own distinct gravies (unlike some other Indian Restaurants who seem to use a generic curry that makes ALL dishes taste the same). Highly recommend you try Taj Grace. Well worth the drive to Angus.

The staff members were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate through their service, we had a lovely conversation with the owner who helped us pick out the best dishes according to what we like or what we look forward to in a dish.Let's talk about the star of the show – the food! Every dish that graced our table was a masterpiece, bursting with flavors that danced on my taste buds. The menu offered an impressive array of culinary delights, each one thoughtfully crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Whether you have a preference for mild, medium, hot spices, or something in between, Taj Grace has something to satisfy every palate through preferred spices.One standout dish that still lingers in my memory is the Prawn curry. The combination of delicate textures and bold flavors was a revelation, we got the garlic and butter naans which were fresh out of the tandoor oven, hot and fluffy, it was without a doubt, the best naan’s we had ever had.It is clear that the chef and their expertise shine through in every dish. Nice place with friendly staff and good ambience. I ordered chicken biryani and it was delicious. Their raitha that comes with the biryani is better than any place I've tried. I loved that both the biryani and the raitha had lots of vegetables, most places will just make biryani with rice, chicken and onion and whip up some yogurt and call it raitha. The chicken was very tender, cooked perfectly. Definitely one of the best places I've had biryani at.

This meal was absolutely wonderful, the best butter chicken and lamb korma we've ever had! And that Naan, just wow! Everything was delicious and we will be back (leftovers are enough for another full meal for my family of 3).

This is hands-down the best Indian restaurant in all of Angus+Barrie. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, staff is hardworking and friendly, and the food is AMAZING. You can truly identify the freshness through each dish, rice, and naan. Not many places take great efforts in ensuring everything is made fresh on the spot, you can count on Taj Grace of India in making fulfilling and flavorful dishes. Definitely well worth the wait for such awesome food. As it is a family buisness, I truly appreciate the hardwork everyone puts in for each order, you can tell every dish is made with sufficient attention and care, we need more places like this! 1000% recommend this restaurant!

We were visiting Collingwood while we decided to have our rather late lunch at this restaurant. At that time it was sparsely populated. So no waiting for us. Service was reasonably fast and portions were generous. In fact, we sort of over-ordered. Their Naan size is quite large. They serve main course dishes along with a serving of rice. Overall good experience.

This place has the worst service ever. Our food took over an hour and 15 minutes to arrive. They served us the curries first and a few minutes later served us with one naan at a time. That meant we shared our naan's with our group and had to wait 4-7 minutes for each naan to be served. And they also forgot our complete order. When asked for the remaining dishes, they said they don't have it on the order list and it will take them additional 15-20 minutes to make. Overall, after 2 hours, we had to leave the place, still being hungry. The food wasn't that great either. Save yourself the horror, and go someplace else.Reply to the owner: Thank you for your prompt reply. We didn't come at the closing time. We called in at 5.30pm to ask if you can accommodate 15 people and upon approval, made a reservation for 6pm. That's 2 hours before closing time. None of us were rude to any of your employees at any point. We did say to one of your employees that - I am sorry to say but your service is a little slow"

This is exactly what I wanted this city to have! As of August 12, 2018, they are officially open! A wonderful family run restaurant with a great location. They have a great menu and the food is flavourful. You can ask for varying levels of spiciness to make sure it suits your tastes. A place with a lot of potential and it's off to a great start. Amazing proportions and really tasty on the palette. I urge you to try to restaurant if you're craving Indian food.
