Right from inquiry to receiving our gallery, Carissa was extremely helpful and readily available to answer any questions we had. She had great brochures that laid out so much helpful information to ensure we got the most from our wedding images. Her warm, inviting personality fit right in with our small 40 guest wedding, and many of our guests talked about how amazing she was to be around, even before they saw our gallery. Carissa puts her clients first. She had over 25 weddings the year she shot ours, but yet we felt like ours was her only one, her priority. She always made time for what mattered the most to us, and even somehow found the time to lay all the contents of my soaking wet wallet out to dry after it poured on our stroller. Carissa always ensured we were comfortable, but was also up for an adventure to ensure we got amazing images. I have images that I will cherish forever, and I am so thankful to her for that!

We used Carissa for our engagement and wedding photos and it was the best choice we ever made. We are a couple that hates getting pictures taken of ourselves and usually feel awkward in every possible way. Carissa quickly changed that. Her easy-going, fun-loving, silly personality allowed us to feel comfortable, relaxed and goofy at all times! We were able to be comfortable being our true selves in front of a stranger (who instantly felt like a great friend) which is huge, cause the pictures sure showed it. From the moment we met Carissa, we knew we had to have her capture our day! My husband and I met her at a coffee shop, and it was like we had known her for years! She was so easy to talk to, so kind and genuine, and someone we wanted to have on our side. We were a little nervous going into our engagement session (we had never been professionally photographed) but Carissa made it all so easy! She helped me pick out our outfits, she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and we laughed the entire session! Our photos turned out SO GOOD!Since COVID happened this year, she was the first to message us to make sure we were ok, and the first to jump on board and help with our new wedding plans! (She even recommended our new ceremony spot - Farm Fresh Florals) We are so thankful for her help, guidance, and friendship throughout all of this. Carissa is the ABSOLUTE BEST photographer you will ever find. She is very professional with the most amazing personality. She created the most comfortable environment to work in while also always bringing it with the jokes and tunes. Both myself and my husband rarely take pictures and are super awkward about it, but she helped us with all the details for our engagement shoot, down to location and outfits. Both our engagement and wedding photos were absolutely stunning!! I’ve honestly gone through my wedding photos almost daily since she has sent me the album. She truly knows how to capture your entire day. It plays just like the movies, telling the most special story of your wedding capturing the pure love, happiness and joy that was felt throughout that entire perfect day. I found Carissa on Instagram and was instantly in love with her photography style. Our first meeting with her made us confident she was the photographer for us. With her quirky prompts and easy demeanor, she made us feel so comfortable at our engagement shoot. The engagement photos were stunning and made us so excited for what she would do at our wedding. Carissa helped us throughout the entire process from deciding on photo locations to tidying up our wedding day timeline – I don’t know what I’d done without her. Carissa is incredibly knowledgeable, fun, and all around amazing. Now that we have our wedding photos (received earlier than expected), we’re overwhelmed with how beautiful they are and how she captured the day so perfectly.

Carissa is an absolute dream. She was not only our photographer, but our wedding planner and at times, a emotional support person lol.I knew I wanted to do a small elopement, but wasn’t exactly sure where or how to even start. We spoke with Carissa, who came up with some suggestions that fit out relationship and we ended up with the most magical, intimate and meaningful day (after some last minute scrambling due to a projected 100mm’s of rain and flash flooding) Carissa reached out to me the day prior and essentially replanned our elopement to ensure we would be able to get pictures outside on our big day. Once we came up with a game plan, she also proactively touched based with our hair and makeup girls and asked them if they were able to come earlier. Carissa quite literally saved our day.On the day of, Carissa also showed up with a pie from the infamous Miners Cafe. She blended right in with our family and there were no awkward moments. My husband is not a photo person, but couldn’t stop talking about how much he loved Carissa and her vibe.I could not recommend Carissa enough. She really puts her whole heart into your day and will make you feel incredibly special. Hire her! You will not regret it.

Words will never be enough to describe my gratitude towards Carissa! But I will give it my best shot.. My husband and I were out when we received an email that our wedding gallary had been delivered (WAY earlier than we expected it to be). So naturally, we rushed home, poured a glass of wine and opened the email. Within minutes, I was crying happy tears. The photos were remarkable!
