Syd and his team did a fantastic job restoring my 30 year old oak hardwood. I returned from a 10 day vacation to beautiful new floors and a clean house.

We couldn't be happier with our new floors! We had actually intended to go with a brown finish, but when they uncovered these floors, we decided to rethink things. Our questions were answered, options were discussed and in the end, we were left with these beautiful floors. They aren't kidding when they say 99% dustless,100% when they left. We wouldn't hesitate to use Sweetwood Flooring again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great job and a great experience!

Syd answered all of our questions in a timely manner which we really appreciated, he responded quickly and is able to clearly articulate information in his writing and communication skills. We also felt very comfortable with Syd and Luc in our home, they got right to it , were friendly, personable and have a great sense of humour. Above all, the workmanship is impressive. Our 35 year old kitchen maple floors look like new...incredible! The dustless process is not a gimmick....there was absolutely no mess in our home and no pervasive odour either. Hardwood floors were in need of care. Even after cleaning them, they looked dirty from the wear and tear.Syd’s Flooring promised 98% dust free and they weren’t kidding. No tapping or covering necessary. Estimate was in the ballpark of the other two companies I invited to quote.After sanding and three coats of finish, floors are now AMAZING! I think maybe better than new, they are that awesome.Owner and crew are very professional and easy to deal with. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Sweetwood Flooring did an amazing job on my floor. We had them install unfinished oak flooring in my living room and office and refinish my existing hardwood to match. The quality of the workmanship was impeccable. You can really tell they take pride in their work. Their attention to detail was incredible. They have a great knowledge base and use top quality products. When we were trying to pick color and finish, they created samples for us to see. We really couldn't be happier with the job they did. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

Hired an Ottawa flooring company recommended by friends.Absolute nightmare, so many issues from refinishing (twice) the floors, bannisters, stairs not sanded enough to take stained. Dust in every nook and cranny. So very expensive and stressful (to date).Emailed Sweetwood flooring, Sydney replied promptly, looked and pics and came over to see the issue. Offered options and solution. He had a cancellation and kindly offered me the dates.Sydney and his partner respected my property by not leaving any dust, cleaning up after themselves every day (took away every bin bag). When it came to color choices, he explained and was patient. What was shown, is exactly what my floor looks like.There is reason that Sweet Flooring is booked out into 2023-they are the best in town. We had our hardwood floors and stairs sanded and refinished by Sweetwood after being recommended by a neighbour. Sydney and his crew did an amazing job their work was impressive! Our 20+ years old maple flooring look brand new now. Their dustless system was very impressive as there was no dust to speak of in the house.We would highly recommend Sweetwood flooring.

We were looking to improve the look of our very scratched up 20 year old cherry wood hardwood floors. Because of Covid, we had never met yet Sydney made over 10 sample colours for us to choose from. Sydney and Luc were extremely professional and thoughtful during the whole process of sanding, staining and varnishing. We were out of the house for 3 nights but were pleasantly surprised by the state of the house when we returned. There was very little dust and no garbage or dirt left behind. Even better….the floors are stunning and look brand new! In addition, we noticed that the team made sure to place a cardboard on our lane way when they realized that their van was leaking. True professionals.
