Recently held a corporate event here so our group dined here multiple times through several days. Breakfast and dinners were both fantastic. Great wine menu with reasonable prices. Definitely recommend the lobster dish.

One if best restaurants on the Western Cabot Trail. Excellent fresh fish dishes. Nice views, good service, laid back atmosphere. Always make this on our yearly visits to Cape Breton.

Best meal of our Cape Breton Island visit. Lots of seafood variety. Flavourful dishes. Attentive servers. Beautiful view.Note: Panorama is on the second floor of the restaurant. You need to walk partway through the bar and follow the staircase upstairs.

Slow service, food was very underwhelming. My fish tacos had pieces of fish that were literally only 1” long; so it was mostly tortilla for $18. The guacamole is from a bag, not tasty. And my partners lobster roll was flavourless. One lobster roll, fish tacos, and two drinks came to $120… so not worth it. Save your money and eat at one of the better restaurants in town.

This restaurant has everything you would want in the very best restaurant. Ambiance is very cozy with a spectacular view of the ocean, we even had the sunset. The service was very attentive and friendly. I ordered the fish and chips and asked if they have given me half onion rings and half fries and they did! The fish was absolutely tender, juicy and delicious. The batter was light and crispy. Also, the size was huge! The seafood chowder is outstanding and a must! We ordered short rib fries with poutine and wow! Delicious! I thought there was a real value too.

View was absolutely incredible, fast friendly service and reasonably priced. Would recommend the fish and chips, the batter was light and the portion was huge.

Very slow service, we sat down at a table of four and received 3 menus. We never got a fourth. We waited 20 minutes to receive bread and water. We ordered apps and entrees immediately and then waited another 40 minutes for our appetizers and our one drink order. We waited another 40 minutes after our appetizers to receive our mains. The food was good the service is just extremely slow. Good view. Good food. Very slow & not very attentive service.

Fine spot for dinner. We ordered the burger and the fish and chips. The fish and chips were really good, the fish was huge and perfectly cooked and crispy.
