Delicate Impressions

Tonia has been photographing my maternity and newborn pictures for almost a decade now. I love how Tonia continues to grow and add on to her creative skills which are evidently in her photos. Tonia is always open to the ideas that I had, that would make some of my pictures more meaningful to me as well. It is awesome that she pays attention to detail and works with me as if it's her first time with me every time! Not only has Tonia been photographing my family, she has extended and captured many beautiful pictures of my in-laws, friends, and my friend's friends!! So, today l had the most amazing experience!! I attended a photo shoot with my Niece and got to see my one week old Great Niece have her photographs taken. Watching Tonia was magical. She has a unique way with babies and l was so impressed with her studio. She is very professional, gentle, kind and caring with other peoples babies. I would highly recommend Tonia and Delicate Impressions Photography.

Where do I start? Tonia is the best photographer I've ever come across. Shes kind, humble and you can tell she LOVES doing what she does and does it effortlessly. Tonia will take your ideas and and make them a reality and then some. I came to Tonia after I had my first son almost 13 years ago when she was just getting started. She also photographed my wedding and most recently my family photos. I thought her photos 13 years ago were amazing, but the photos she takes now are INCREDIBLE!!

After very much consideration and talking with many friends and family, it's time to share our experience of our wedding photos.It has taken a while for me to write into words a review for how hurt and disappointed we are with our wedding photos.We hired Delicate Impressions for our wedding in May of 2022.We had a meeting with the photographer and explained family dynamics as we are not close with my husbands side of the family at all. She understood, documented this information and moved on. She asked if there was anything special and we mentioned my grandmas bench and that it would be a memorial bench for both grandmothers who had passed. The photos of the bench taken could have been done better on my iPhone. Tonia told us there would be sunset photos, so many photos of guests etc, but she left to drive our Oma home as per my mother in laws request??My mother in law had no part in anything to do with our wedding OR wedding pictures, and she did not contribute a dime to either so she had absolutely zero say.Fast forward 10.5 weeks after my wedding and we receive our photos. There were 53 photos of a combination of my mother in law, her boyfriend and her mother together 53!!! Our wedding was held at my grandfathers place with an absolutely gorgeous forest which provided so many photo opportunities but the photographer decided to hangout with her friends and snap pictures of them all night. This was not their wedding, this was OUR wedding. There were no pictures of the atmosphere, the hockey game projected, the lawn games… but she made sure to include an absolutely lovely photo of my mother in law and her boyfriend pretending to have sex bent over in my grandfathers forest, classless.There were hardly any photos of the mother of the bride and hardly any of our close family in general..This was so incredibly disappointing, for something that we were SO excited for.

What an amazing experience. My 8 day old daughter’s photoshoot was done by Tonia. She is an incredible person. Very creative, really professional and above all a very kind human being❤️You can genuinely say she loves babies. If anyone looking for photoshoots please get it done by Tonia. You won’t regret seeing the photographs.

Tonia is absolutely amazing! I’ve had the joy of having a maternity shoot and all 3 of my kids photographed by her. Life changes so quickly I’m thrilled I got these precious moments photographed by such a talented artist, so many amazing images to choose from! Her studio is top of the line and she is wonderful with kids, working wonders getting great images by difficult toddlers.

Not only is Tonia an incredibly talented photographer, she is a wonderful person that is an absolute pleasure to work with! She captured so many precious photos of our son and our family that melted our hearts. She has an incredible studio and made the entire photo session comfortable and lots of fun. I highly recommend Delicate Impressions to anyone looking for stunning baby and family photographs that you will treasure forever.

I haven’t even gotten my photos back yet and I know Tonia will be photographing my son again! My 10 day old was cluster feeding and not having pictures. Not once did she make me feel rushed, she spent hours with us trying to get the perfect shots and although he was not cooperating the best, I know the photos will be amazing! 10/10 recommend for newborns!I came back to add to this review almost a year later! I was right last year, Tonia has now photographed my son 3 times and they continue to exceed my expectations! I don’t know how she does it! The last pictures we got for his first birthday are incredible and she included myself and my boyfriend in some of them as well (what great memories), they make me tear up they are so beautiful! She’s the best in Sarnia for babies and family, you will not regret getting photos done with her!
