Absolutely love this restaurant. I has become a go to for weekday lunches with coworkers. Since this is a temple, you will need a membership (I think it's around $50-$70, a year) and you need to buy tickets at the front ($10 a ticket). It's cashless inside the actual restaurant so don't forget to get your tickets before. Each ticket is used to buy a dish or tea. I highly recommend the laksa with rice noodles and the fruit tea. They also give you toothpicks so you can eat the fruit afterwards. This place is mostly vegan but has some vegetarian option due to the milk they use so be sure to ask them if you are avoiding dairy

I have no words! If you have not experienced this Teahouse, you must. Coming from the most pickiest eater, this review says a lot. Presentation was great.

Hidden in Fo Guang temple is this tea house that has excellent vegetarian noodles. Love the sesame sauce cold noodles I ordered. It's uncomplicated and extremely tasty. The settings is clean and the service is wonderful. You do need membership ($30 annual fee) to dine there but you can bring non members in. After that everything on menu is $12 when this post is written.

Fantastic experience and food. All vegetarian and tastes amazing. You need a memebership:It's a little confusing on how to get a membership and which one is right for you. Just enter the temple through the main doors and speak to one of the friendly people in the front. I have the international temple membership. How to order:Once you have a memebeship then you pay for your token to exchange for you food choice. If you choose tea one of my personal favourite is the Tangerine Tea. The noodle dishes are hot and delicious.

Food is delicious but limited variety. You need an annual membership to eat here. All menu items are a single price of $12, including tea ($12), waffles ($12), noodle bowls ($12), sandwiches ($12).

WHAT TO TRY?!Their noodles here. They specialize in vegetarian food or imitation meat with their noodles. The laksa noodle and the imitation beef noodle are fan favorites.FYI, you need to have membership with the temple in order to get their vouchers though. You can try to ask on a regular day to see if you’re lucky but essentially the tea room doesn’t take cash. You buy your tickets at the counter when you come in and then you trade your ticket in for a bowl of noodle or a pot of tea or a sandwich combo, whatever you like. One ticket equals one item.My favorite is the laksa noodle. Has a bit of spicy kick to the laksa and it’s very creamy because of the coconut concentrate they use in their laksa mixture. The bowl has shredded lettuce, some imitation fish balls and squid balls and tofu. Very yummy! The imitation beef noodle is also yummy too. The pieces actually look like beef and the taste is great. One bowl is good for one person. The servers are very kind and willing to serve you. Mind you, they’re all volunteers here! So be polite too and reciprocate their service with kindness. That’s why they don’t like strangers coming into the tea house because they had rude customers come in and hence why they started making tea house exclusive to members only. If you wanna try this place out, maybe give some offerings to the temple or donate some money and they’ll give you a ticket!LAST TIP?!I urge to also try their orange or ginger tea. Made with fresh orange peels, the tea is sweet and delightful to have with your food.

Hidden gem in Mississauga. I came here for the noodles but was way more impressed by the tea - the lavender earl grey tea was so incredibly smooth (not bitter) and complex. The noodles are all vegetarian but tastes very meaty. The laksa is pretty spicy.Everything on the menu (including tea) is $8. You will need a $30 membership per group to get in but if it's your first time they'll let you go in for free.

I used to come here weekly with my family when 15 years ago and was always a favourite for everyone! Now the requirement of a membership is a bit of a turn off, nevertheless, the food hasn’t changed! Extremely delicious! My most favourite thing here is the fruit tea (無我茶)! I haven’t found anything remotely similar in taste! The price of the tickets have significantly increased from around 15 years at $3 each to now $10 each. The service was amazing and everyone working there are volunteers! I also ordered a noodles in soup and a ham and cheese panini which is my all time favourite there! The imitation meat they use is super delicious and are so similar to the real thing in both texture and taste that sometimes I question myself whether it’s real or not! I highly recommend trying this place out if you are curious!
